Re: FFR Perfect Project
Quality is fine...
If that doesn't cut it, my Harry Potter definitely doesn't make it. I say as long as you can see the arrows without having double arrows all over the place, it's fine. Only criticism: Music could be louder.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
Well, my computer stupidly has it's speakers behind the monitor rofl. Would be hard to make it as loud as possible =( and still see the screen lol.
But, it does seem like I made the quality a lot better. Maybe Ill try something easy tomarrow and see if the quality passes as good.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
haha, omg people are doing things yay okay, tempted to say scrap the whole "dibs"ing thing. If you really really want to have you name up for a song, AAA it fast. Or send us a vid of you AAAing it anyways. Like rubix said, we can upload multiple AAA's.
Also, above all, this is a fun project. We want these videos to be legit, but i'm not going to scrupulously investigate every video. If someone gets a good score on a song, it's liable to be someone wellknown. If a good score comes out of nowhere, it's not getting uploaded. ps, I'll try to upload some vids tomorrow morningish sometime. We'll see how my internet takes it. |

I've already done the ones bolded in my post. You also forgot to add psychoangel to the OP.

The ones I have bolded I finished already. But I figure I'll send them all at the same time.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
Are we talking about us missing psychoangel's dibs? I'm pretty sure we're gonna nix that idea. It's a ton of work to constantly keep track of the three days thing. In order to make it fair though, we can upload multiple AAA's of one song, if you really want your name up for a song though.
EDIT: Also, my internet IS being a shizwang after all. I will be uploading songs when I get the chance, but I can't promise I'll be doing it fast. This is a project after all, and it will take time. I'll do my best to get some up everyday (assuming there are suitable videos) but we'll see. Sorry about that, haha Last edited by KotHN; 11-6-2010 at 08:22 AM.. |

Re: FFR Perfect Project
About getting rid of the three day dibs thing...I don't mind that much, but I still believe people should post about the songs they want to add to the project in the forum, and then it could be the other people's responsibility to see who is doing what and try not to AAA something people are already going to do if possible. If two people REALLY want one song that bad I suppose two uploads could be done (or a judgment of which video has better audio and video quality could be in order).
Also, how will the songs be organized? I'm just throwing an idea out there that several play-lists should be made (Dance, Dance 2, Funk, Rock, etc) and songs should be placed in there so it will be easier to navigate through uploads through the channel. Although it's true they can just search for the AAA on YouTube, this additional organization will allow the people watching a song in a specific play-list find other songs right from the play-list bar or from the channel. Also, any future things that you might want to do (channel visuals, sorting, help uploading large amounts of files) I would love helping you guys out with!

Re: FFR Perfect Project
Multiple submission of a song is fine, I think Rubix mentioned it earlier in this thread. Im sure most here will say which songs they were doing, in that case one could just skim through the thread and see what people are planning to do.
The playlist thing sounds like a good idea, will take into consideration once more videos are uploaded. Im sure we will mess with the channel looks and such another time, just getting some videos uploaded and whatnot to get this started off. |

Re: FFR Perfect Project
I like the playlists idea but seeing as I never ever go to those genres ingame, originally I thought a playlist for each letter :P

Re: FFR Perfect Project
Well, this would also be a nice idea, and would yield better organizing than genres. Only problem with this is that you have named all of your videos "FFR Perfect Project: Video Name" which means that everything is going to start with those words before the actual title. This will make it annoying to navigate to find the title you are looking for if there is a lot of songs in a particular letter. Maybe "Video Name: FFR Perfect Project" would be a good solution to this.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
I like the genre way better because not everyone who will come onto the channel will know the names of FFR songs off the top of their heads, they can just pick a genre they wish and see whats inside.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
Both ideas have their pros and cons, I think we should have a poll for which one people want more when we get to the point of organizing the videos in playlists.
EDIT: I know this is the case, but in the event that the videos are organized alphabetically it would cause clutter and more annoyance than need be Vanilla. In the case people are just searching the videos it won't matter at all, just for the sake of the play-lists.

Re: FFR Perfect Project
hmm, i'm not against removing the FFR perfect project at the beginning of each name. people already know what it is by who uploaded it.
EDIT: ps, genre playlists it is! Last edited by KotHN; 11-6-2010 at 09:45 AM.. |

Re: FFR Perfect Project
If nobody likes the Genre playlists, since they're still quite large...
Have difficulty playlists? Idk, I like the genre idea too. Just adding something in just for thought :P

Re: FFR Perfect Project
I dont see a problem with it. I mean your vid is good quality except for that minor issue, not everyone will have a high tech camera, so its nothing devastating imo. We clearly see the song being played and everything, so fine by me.
