For example, what difficulty would files such as Disregard, The Others, Vertex Gamma, or Data Drain be if they were in FFR? Also please note that the only people who has AAA'd a song above 94 are Dossar and Samurai (unless you count OWA's AAA of p4u v1, which requires a completely different set of skills than other songs), so it seems to me that if hard songs are added solely because people are out of non-stupid files to AAA, you'd be making a major change over the request of two people.
The idea is to have harder files so it isn't a AAA-fest competition separated by 1-2 goods per rank all the time.

EDIT: It's a concept that needs at least some attention. Just like how FFR is dominated by easier charts, there has to be a time where the game caters to tier-0, god-like rhythm gamers (that go beyond.) It isn't asking that batches and steppers forcely step omgwtf difficulty songs ALL the time.

But I suppose the more SM I play the more likely I would want to switch to R3 and 60fps?
you played a new engine for a few days an expected it to be the same as legacy

you're a quitter

When songs aren't hard enough, do what we do in the itg community. Speed them up.

I have no problems playing rates on R^3. I don't want a forced hard file to go ingame.

I play better on legacy pls dont cut it
jic yall don't get it i use this slightly sarcastically, but in all reality i do play better on legacy but for the progression of ffr it's silly to think only of my needs; especially since i dont even play anymore.

Is it impossible to encode a whole new engine that just looks and feels like legacy but is 60fps?
instead of trying to "fix" legacy(even though it's not even broke *****')
jw
Basically like making an r^4 but it's just a legacy remake

60FPS as to oppose to 30FPS with no hiccups in files. (I like how it is right now though, with you, if you really want to, play songs in 30FPS still, but I can see that being phased out eventually too, oho).

Longer charts being supported (it's possible now actually, but older engines can't do it).
Well, we should probably update the chart converter to at least make charts that run in 30fps and still have the real musical timing in the chart for R^3 to use. Perhaps I should make this a priority so that all songs released in the near future are ready for it.

As for long songs, I see no reason to not allow them since they can work in all engines - though I suppose it's a bit extra work getting them going on legacy/velo.
