Re: The Wii is Here.
Oh right. I need to check that out. So far I've been cool I guess as the stuff I voted for is the same as my predictions and they've been alright.
Ps nforcer hows the music doing?

Re: The Wii is Here.
Cooking Mama is solid. If you're interested in the Wii game, I can tell you it's probably really good, but I just can't see myself paying $50 for it. The DS game is $10 at Best Buy. Maybe $25-$30 for the Wii game.

I'm juggling my life, the work I have to do, the other stuff I want to do, and the music. I've finished about a quarter of it. Don't worry, it's on its way.
The DS game is $20 at Best Buy. My girlfriend picked it up two Saturdays ago (ten days) at Best Buy before we went out to a movie, and the price tag was $20. I predict the Wii game will probably be around $35-40.

I saw it at Best Buy the other day for $50... I thought about buying it, but didn't figure it'd be worth $50.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Cooking Mama is fun. My friend has it for DS and couldn't stop playing until she beat it. I'm not sure if I'll get the Wii one soon or not, because... $50 is a lot... and I'm going broke.
But it's fun. PS - I'm hoping for the best with Katamari, but the original creator is no longer working on it, so be wary. He stopped after the 3rd so that the franchise wouldn't get stale, but they decided to move along without him. Hope for the best.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Nineteen tracks down, thirteen to go. Due to some recording issues, a few tracks will be missing. Nothing too major, though. All is explained in the included README. I expect to have this out sometime this weekend.

Companies are trying to cash in on the hot-selling console.
Crappy / low-selling games will eventually drop in price. Red Steel is already $30 in some stores. Give it time. |

Re: The Wii is Here.
So the second game to make use of realtime play against other people online has been announced. It comes out late next month. Some of you might know it.
http://www.nintendo-europe.com/NOE/e...4DW6LGuRPeF8Ms Unfortunately, that's a Europe-only release date. So we won't get the game for a while. Meh, I didn't enjoy the Gamecube game, so it's no big loss. In the meantime, check out a solid review on Super Paper Mario along with some final product video footage: http://kotaku.com/gaming/original/su...ons-248961.php http://kotaku.com/gaming/nintendo/mo...deo-249080.php Finally, for no real reason at all, here's a (NSFW: language) video of probably the best way anyone could hope to procure a Wii. It's probably best to just watch it with the sound off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puT64gjbgmc |

Re: The Wii is Here.
It actually looks as though Europe is going to get something decent before america for once (im talking about mario strikers being online, not mario strikers itself) because unless im mistaken, pokemon battle revolution comes out over there in june?

Resident Evil 4 is confirmed to be a Wii port. Umbrella Chronicles is confirmed to be a rail shooter coming out by the end of the year. http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/04/re...s-an-on-rails/ Also, remember how it was rumored that Madden used the Forecast channel for its weather? Re: The Wii is Here.
That's pretty awesome.
I bought Sonic last week, and the story fails, the graphics are good enough, and the gameplay is meh. GI brought a good point in their 5.5/10 review. "If Sonic is all about speed, why is he constantly being slowed down?" Seriously, he has to kill enemies to get through some blocks. That's dumb. Really dumb. The sense of speed is amazing, and the sections where he just runs is the best, but there aren't enough of those to really sasitify me. I'm going back to play TP and Excite Truck once I beat the story.
