Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
I don't thinking liking a chart makes you aaa it. I actually have AAAed a good deal of songs when extremely irate.

Liking a chart makes you want to play it again. It helps you reach your goal.
(then again, "liking" is such a foreign feeling for ya) |

DROPPING IN TO SAY I LIKED THE FILE BMAH!!!!!
Although I think I've gotten to the point where bmah could open something like a Paraoka song and take a spicy rice dump all over the SM editor and I'd still love it. OWA bmah fanboy #1 |

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
I have a request for next round's file: please remove the 5 seconds of silence before the music starts. It becomes really annoying after restarting 200+ times.

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
aside from starting off a file one of the worst ways possible(trills to something that isn't even audible until the second trill comes in) the file is fine and dandy

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
I love the file and I'd be AAAing it, but I've had absolutely no time at all to play a good amount of FFR on a good keyboard, and I won't for another day or two either. :/

If there isn't about 2 seconds of silence at the beginning of an FFR file, it glitches and creates a weird lag that makes the first arrow incredibly hard to hit accurately. If you want an example of this play BURNIN' THE FLOOR (also on Dossar's engine) Trust me the 2 seconds of silence is there for a reason, sorry you find it annoying but it's a necessary evil >_< Quote:
I've also given slipknot_6969 an extension for round 1. Next time though please try to tell me a little more in advance.

The issue with the trills I run into is that my screen starts shaking like a violent earthquake is hitting it.

There are other songs on the dossar engine that start after only 2 seconds, so it is possible to start the song earlier.. and on the normal Velocity engine there are no songs that take more than 4 seconds to start. That's why I was asking. If you are sure that there is no way the song can start earlier then I'm fine with it. I was just wondering if there was something you could do. (Also, I am incredibly frustrated at not getting the AAA... I might just give up this round :/) |

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
Maybe qqwref added some extra thing that adds 2 seconds to my 2 seconds in his converter
in which case curse you qqwref for constantly being one step ahead of me!!! And I will look into it

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
So, next round:
D1: low 8 D2: low 10 D3: high 10/ low 11 (rating it low 11 but if people want high 10 I will change) D4: high 11/ low 12 (rating it high 11 but if people want low 12 I will change) D5: mid 12 (what did you expect) I will do the side game and spon-con credits in a little bit...

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
I know, but here's the thing: I can press the right arrows at the right time to the beat of the song. AAA-ing is just random at this point: it requires me to account for slight frame offsets and other crap.
Playing this song 300 times over to AAA it does not really increase my skill. I prefer playing harder songs and move on when I can play them clean (only perfs/some goods). I have given good effort, as I have already played the file about 200 times. Maybe I'll give it some more tries later. But I prefer sacrificing 1 good now in order to kick D1's ass in the later rounds |

I agree with you, AAAing can get tediuous, that's why I made this tournament! I really don't want to see any more AAAs in any division starting next round. (aside from D5B and A, as usual) D1 is very quickly going to get into harder rounds you cannot AAA. Like I said, I started easier for the lower divisions but they will also be pushed harder near the end!
