Re: osu! — Rhythm is just a click away!
it's when you become modest and humble enough to realize that asking any question relating to being a pro is silly
who in the fuc cares if you're a pro or not, just enjoy the game

But ever since kjw quit I felt like something is missing, and you wanna know why he quit? It's because of the way of how you're bragging in that arrogant "Im za boss in here and u all suk" style. I thought I could ignore all that and get over it, but the last little conversation we had together pretty much made up my mind about you... My last 2 weeks have been shitty already and I did not expect kjw to quit at any rate as long as I just won't post anymore scores which could make him feel like he's the worsest taiko player on ffr, and then you came. Sure, how were you supposed to know that, but don't you feel a little bit "bad" about the attitude you show in your posts..? It's like you're seriously trying to always get specifically my attention with each score you post on here Don't expect me to ever un-ignore you on osu as long as you keep that attention-screaming attitude, because I really hate that... makes me kick you in the balls inside a lot. (Yes, this means we can still get along if you decide to stop being so exorbitantly arrogant and stop giving me the feeling you're only playing the game in order to beat me) I'm not here to start any all-hating drama, I just want you to take a second and think about it. I'm not saying you aren't allowed to have any happy-go lucky feelings when you accomplish something you're really proud of, I'm just saying you should pay more attention to what you write when posting these accomplishments. I don't want anyone else to quit... I, for myself, really pay attention to how I post stuff, because I've been on here long enough to know how people would react, and I'm not gonna do the same mistake I did 3 years ago. Being "pro" is like a sin in my eyes. You start posting in a way that people easily interpret as very arrogant. You won't be respected as a pro, and people will start hating on you. Not only because of jealousy, but also because of the use of your own skill in order to accomplish satification by letting everyone know even more of your proness than they already do. (And just by the thought that you're taking the game way to serious) p.s. I don't expect kjw to ever come back to taiko, so from all the ffr osu'ers it's only you, samwais, half a pmon and me left playing actively. Last edited by Xayphon; 05-3-2012 at 02:47 PM.. |

Re: osu! — Rhythm is just a click away!
Look, firstly, I had no idea kjw quit taiko because of me. I just know that he stopped playing it seriously. I never had any intentions of making anyone quit. That's the last thing I'd like to have happen; me being the cause for someone else's inability to enjoy the game. So to kjw, I'm sincerely sorry.
But secondly, no, I do not feel bad about the way I was posting because there was nothing innately wrong with it. Although, I will admit that I probably was acting really arrogant. I know I can get very competitive and I will refrain from doing anything that seems in vein or arrogant anymore. If I DO happen to cross the line (which everyone makes mistakes, we're only human), I have no issues with someone telling me I need to chill out. And to you Xayphon, the reason why I probably came off as an attention whore to you is because quite literally, you're my ****ing idol for taiko. It's been my dream since day one to be able to compete equally with you. I also realize this will probably never happen, you're far too good for me. But that won't stop me from trying, ever. Again, I am sorry for the attitude I've been giving while posting on here and I promise I will try my best to keep the arrogance to myself. If I do step out of turn again, don't hesitate to let me know (just, please don't be a total douche about it, it may have slipped my attention for the brief moment of that post). I would really love it for kjw to come back. I never wanted to be the reason anyone would want to quit enjoying such a fun game, but I'm not going to force you even if we all miss you. And Xayphon, I'm still going to try and try and try again to be able to beat you, even if it takes another year. Now, enough of the drama talk, can we all just get along again? :3 |

Show off... Sheesh.
I can't even get 80% accurate without having to do the same song at least 1,000 times. :\ |
