![]() 210k keytap session
Long IcyWorld file. 9031 notes of split jumptrill 180 jumpstream for nearly 8 minutes ![]() Wrecked this, 1.5 still out of reach though ![]() Getting real close to that 90% break, the rolls in the first verse and the infamous holdstream section are problems atm ![]() What ![]() The ![]() FUCK ![]() Is ![]() This ![]() Last edited by rCaliberGX; 10-31-2015 at 12:45 AM.. |

![]() @eze i definitely noticed a disproportionate increase in great count when first switching to j5 as well
My guess is because when playing on j4 we tend to optimize muscle memory to minimize great count while still maximizing timing leeway for difficult/dense patterns and that, for the most part, our greats actually do fall into the 75+ ms window. This is because unless painstaking attention to MA is taken there is never a need or push to further improve accuracy of that "tier" (if we consider, MA, PA, and combo to be different tiers of accuracy). I thought I had really good PA overall but there are definitely pattern types where my PA is even further disproportionately bad relative to j4 simply because I only built the absolute minimum necessary muscle memory to get away with PA'ing. Mid-speed 32nd rolls in particular are really bad for me and I've noticed I tend to initially hit very fast high density JS (cos/invisible hand type patterns at 300+) extremely early to maximize the actual window of opportunity to combo them, even though I'm comfortable enough with them that I don't necessarily have to. J4 windows were presumably targeted at pad and it's a miracle that they've carried keyboard play so far, however I personally feel that it's too obsolete and that j5 is more fun, rewarding, and will forge better play in the long term. |

![]() dropped to j4 to make this quick
![]() almost bled out of my anus trying my hardest to MA/PA and got a billion retarded misses and the dp% score suffered pretty heavily as a result its supposed to warm up later this week so i'll shoot for a local record of a j5 96%+ |

![]() Was actually thinking about that lately with the judge difficulty. I was wondering just how much using j5 would help me or if having good accuracy is overrated? I mean obviously having good MA can't ever be a bad thing. I think I might try playing on j5 for a while and see what it does for me.

![]() just dont fall into the trap that many people do when playing j7, which is to convert judgments into their j4 counterpart and accept them as such
if you sit there thinking about how all your greats are actually perfects on j7 and dismiss the issue you will gain nothing the only way to make any visible improvement is to treat higher judge ratings like you were actually still on j4 and force yourself to play around stricter timing windows e: and in this context moving from j4-j7 is far too jarring a gap to provide any useful vehicle for improvement beyond pure MA imo, which is why I chose the smallest increment to test Last edited by MinaciousGrace; 11-1-2015 at 08:42 AM.. |

![]() Pretty fast
![]() Sightread, but the MA looks reasonably good for me ![]() Figured out how to hit the anchor heavy parts ![]() The MA on this is really sick for me, getting below 15% perfects on a first AA is pretty good ![]() AAble? ![]() AAble??? ![]() Surprisingly didn't run into the problem of getting lost in the middle of the song ![]() I wonder if this looks like a first AA to anyone ![]() Apologies for scoredumping twice on the same page |

![]() Decided to work on my disproportionately bad dense jump/handstreaming skills since I've been rather jelly of people who can actually do it for a while now...
First score on soldiers of the stamina where I didn't get tired and could actually play the ending. Choked and dumped a lot of greats on the long roll though. ![]() Finally didn't fail instantly at the long direction switching roll thing on 1.1. ![]() First pass without quad mashing the ending. ![]() |

![]() So ffr being slow wasn't just me lmao
I've been having a pretty decent session so far today. Got a few scores I'm happy about. So cloooose rip. That one miss was on the 24 13 jump trill looool good stuff me. ![]() Lotta misses as usual but surprised I was able to get sub 20g ![]() I never knew how much fun this song was on rates. ![]() This could've been an sdg. I held the AAA into the jumpstream for a surprisingly long time then I started to crash and burn towards the end. ![]()
