Public Schools - Bad for American Students?

I despise public schooling.
I have always gone to private schools,
and I plan to give my children with the same treatment.

I think it is more sad that more and more private schools are closing...

Instilling morals in people so that they will feel bad and not do those things.

You may have that too. Your pessimism, however, does not articulate itself alongside appropriate understanding of the subject in many instances.
