For those of you who say that we need a hard token once in a while, every token can't be easy, etc: I trust you have no objection to a token that makes you AAA Silence, then?

Re: Starman requirement thread.
That's way too hard. There's a difference between hard and so hard that barely anyone would even bother trying, so barely anyone would get much enjoyment out of that, either. Now, sdg any FMO song, that'd be ok with me, as even though I've never done so with an FC, it's still something at lot more people would feel that could at least attempt to get.

"I'm able to unlock most of these skill tokens in like 3 tries we need a hard token every once in a while"
Yeah gj you're more skilled than most people. I consider myself decently skilled enough at the game yet I haven't unlocked most of these skill tokens. You don't see me complaining about those, but some of these average bull**** tokens are just ridiculous. Let's make tokens in the future like, AAA Nova Pulser or something.

Re: Starman requirement thread.
So is this.
I'm not suggesting making AAA Silence a token, I'm just making a fair comparison. Also, I personally consider AAA Silence far easier.

Go Shash, you tell them rofl
I still think it would be nice to have a reward for gettin starman the hard way which what the 36 ppl who have it did. I say like a free subscription or even vrofl for like a day or something, just a reward for being stupid enough to sit through the pain of getting it.

Re: Starman requirement thread.
I'd consider FCing EHHS (with under 20 boos) or FCing BB Evo easier than this, honestly.

Re: Starman requirement thread.
This token isn't that hard compared to AAA'ing Silence, even if you're someone who can do that in a few tries. Just play on 3x and hit late, because your reaction rate forces you to hit late. If C900 is too slow, screencut a little bit, and try FC'ing then. I got like 3 perfects and the rest goods at that rate. I'm pretty sure I could triple C that song with whoring. (as opposed to triple A)

Re: Starman requirement thread.
Set it to 1.5 and Dark and hit the notes when they hit the top of the game screen. I don't have it yet cuz av misses but it gives goods most of the time

Re: Starman requirement thread.
I agree, though, that the skill token requirements are getting pretty retarded... just saying that this particular one isn't that hard to do. Getting 9 goods on a song is biased toward not SKILL in general (doing your best on a song) but skill to the exact extent to which it produces a 9 good result.

Re: Starman requirement thread.
Guys. Don't jack it up with mods.
Play on 3x. Even if you try to hit as a perfect, you usually get goods. Just hit it 'slightly' after. 3x is probably the easiest way to go about doing.

I got it, but FFR went down at the exact moments I got it. I hope a mod can fix this

Re: Starman requirement thread.
When I made that post (Since I see that people quoted or made references to it) I wasn't doing it as a brag, because we do need hard tokens every once in a while, but PLEASE don't make this token seem like this is the token to end all tokens. There is a strategy to it thats fairly simple to do it once you get the hang of it.
I understand its annoying, but its does REQUIRE skill, so quit bitching at the fact that people won't want to play it. Obviously people want to, they just don't want to spend the time. Also, for a Silence AAA, you are opening that up to a select few that has ever AAAed it. I again wouldn't mind, probably would hate it, and I know I wouldn't be alone, but I definitely would try at it. I wouldn't just give up, no matter how hard it was...

Re: Starman requirement thread.
No way I can get it with hitting earlier goods, so I have to hit later goods.
After about 10 tries like 13-161-0-0-0 or 10-163-0-1-1, I got it. Actually 10 perf/average restriction doesn't make sense at all, it just makes the req 164 or more goods. I must say to whoever thought of this req, obviously you have almost no idea about this game. |

Re: Starman requirement thread.
ok, i slept on this token and i woke up this morning ready to get it. After reading this whole thread, it seems like more people are saying its hard to get. Oh well, wish me luck
I honestly couldn't care less about the requirements of the skill tokens, just as long as more are released XD |

Re: Starman requirement thread.
I notice something. arrows flash a little when they reach the step zone. Screen-cutting with 1X speed helps too.

In reality, for me, it's more comparable to under 5 goods FC on BB Revenge or AAA BB Evolution. I'm kind of an anomaly in this way, but still, the fact is that this is just way too hard and unfun to do for 99.9% of FFR's active players.
