Re: The Wii is Here.
News Channel launched this morning. I tried updating my Wii a day early because it worked with the Forecast Channel; well, it does with the News Channel, too.
This feature is amazing. There's a whole list of categories of news to choose from, from international news to entertainment. Pictures are included, and you can view all the articles one-by-one with the slideshow feature. It's just like a newspaper. The most amazing thing, though, is that when you choose an article to read, the right panel opens up and the Wii Globe comes up to show you the area of interest that the article takes place in. If you wish, you can click on the globe, and the Wii Globe appears just as it does on the Forecast Channel. Articles are grouped in major cities and regions all around the world. Incredible.

Re: The Wii is Here.
o neat news channel.
Also, Harvest Moon Wii screenshots are up. I've never played a Harvest Moon game, so I'm not really excited, but maybe you are. Also, check out these Twilight Princess easter eggs. Possible spoilers, so only if you've beaten it. http://boards.ign.com/legend_of_zeld.../135608456/p1/ My favorite so far: "There's a rumour that if a blue chu and a yellow chu run together, they will form a green chu. Green chu's likely existed to refil the magic meter, a feature that was eventually dropped from the game. The magic meter can still be seen in a screenshot on the back of the box. " |

Bye Squeek XD lmao.
Well Farcry got a terrible review from NOM. I'm quite disappointed as I loved the PC version.

Re: The Wii is Here.
I added everyone in the list.
And as long as you were the "seth" in the list, I added you as well. How does the list propagate anyway? Does it wait until both systems are online at the same time to verify that both have set each other as friends? I caught nforcer online this morning apparently as he was getting up to update (and I had just spent all night up rofl) and I noticed a few others added on my list at that time. Then when I turned my system on this evening, I noticed a few more. Does it do it by the first person adding, the second person adding, then the first person verifying, then the names are added to both lists? I dunno that seems kind of innefficient. ps I just finished all of the "story" things in Wario ware. It looks like there's more to do, but I don't know if I'll have the dedication to get it done, what with the fact that I have like 5 other games I need to play (on top of the wii games, I picked up the Genesis/Gamegear Sonic game on PS2 and I've been thinking about getting Guitar Hero as well... I also am still sitting on DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for and Ultimate Spider-man, both for PS2), and work, and class. Sucks, but whatever.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Started and finished all the main stuff in WarioWare today. @_@
Still have some minigames to unlock, and there are a couple more open spaces for new icons on the map too. I'll get them soon enough. It's super awesome, but there's one thing I miss from previous WarioWares: the ability to "complete" each minigame individually (or save high scores for them). :/ Also, a person with another name can't input their name for the high score while playing on your file. Their name has a separate file that needs its own completing. It also kinda sucks that you can't use multiple remotes for the multiplayer >_> but using the nunchuck for the second player on some games is pretty cool. Anyway, enough complaining! It's a sweet game and I had a blast with it and a friend today. I love the incorporation of Miis in a few parts too. XD

Re: The Wii is Here.
Awesome lol. The game said 31 at first and I was like "WHAT!?!?!" then it made a funny noise. The 31 fell off the screen and 20 replaced it XD

Re: The Wii is Here.
I just got Warioware and its awesome, better then I expected. I didn't think I'd like it at first and I would get bored of it fast.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Eric, if you see the creator name as "Joe", it's probably me. The only other "Joe" I can think of that isn't me is Squeek's "Pink Bath", made my his cousin.

Re: The Wii is Here.
I have about 50 miis and I've probably only used around 30 of them.
