Re: Trickster: The game
You do know we got the Ice Cone event at the same time jTO did, with similar (and in some cases, better) equips?
It's possible =) |

Re: Trickster: The game
Hmm...It would be in Ntreev's good interest that they release the stuff...It would be the perfect way to coax people to buy MyShop items when the game goes into full release.
But they better release 2nd job at the same time, too.

Re: Trickster: The game
Whoo, another patch.
First of all, listen to what they say on the site or you'll sit there for hours waiting for it to patch. Second, while nothing visibly changed, it's clear by the filenames what is changing. 1) MyCamp - Place to build and decorate a house that others can visit 2) Character data - What else would you update character data for? Clearly it's 2nd job data. 3) Descriptions - Less Engrish. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. =( |

Bump for BREAKING F*CKING NEWS...
As of now, it's not safe to log onto Trickster due to someone running around with GM Powers along with the ban ability. Also, there have been sightings of people with unreleased items. It's gonna suck.

Re: Trickster: The game
I've heard it's been pretty crazy these days.
It's a good thing I quit my main character until another event or job change. |

In this chaos, a few people from another forum are going back to jTO.
Maybe I'll try jTO out...It worked for the FFR Maplers, right? Oh, yeah...There were also alleged appearences of GMs in the game...but whether they were real GMs or not were being questioned. Their behavior didn't match up with the behavior they exhibited in previous appearences.

Re: Trickster: The game
No, some kids modified the game client to allow themselves to become GMs, or have special items, or both.
I don't know how, but it was apparently doable. And somehow they've managed to take over the website, or at least make news posts on it. The MySpace and LJ links are for IP farming. |

Re: Trickster: The game
Apparently it was all a joke or something. No idea.
The MySpace and LJ sites are legit, and it's looking very likely that this maintenance will end with 2nd jobs according to what some people are reading from the patch dump. |

Re: Trickster: The game
Apparently the game will reopen tomorrow, along with a reregistration of accounts since Trickster is moving away from GameNGame.
There could be 2nd jobs, but I also heard that the 2nd job files were already present in the initial patch. Still, it can't hurt to think positive. =)

I was regretting my pure AP build. Now I can fix it! Mages can fix their pure MA build to get some LK in there for accuracy if they want to. I love this company. One more hour until the open beta is released. Last edited by Squeek; 11-9-2006 at 07:29 PM.. |

Servers are now really open.
I think we can agree that the idea of an FFR guild is automatically nixed, seeing as two people probably won't consitute one. >_>

Re: Trickster: The game
Yeah.
I joined a cool guild of seemingly-awesome people. We shall see. We shall see. In other news, I added my bonus stats. Had 480 to spend. Spent 360 on AP and 120 on LK. Holy crap, I critical really freakin' often. It's totally worth the like 100 damage less that I do now. So awesome. People are going to think I hack with the number of times I critical. It's like every other hit. |

Re: Trickster: The game
Do you guys have 2nd job or whatever yet?
Or does anybody still play? XD

Re: Trickster: The game
Still a Beta, EB.
Maple was in a Beta for 8 months. It didn't have 3rd jobs, Ossy, any decent items, cash shop, etc. So, I hope you're not thinking that this is a negative on behalf of the GMs of Trickster. Anyway, I paused my Raccoon at 120. I'm waiting for the next event, which will be in a week or two. I get two runs at amazing TM EXP. I am still working on my Sheep, but they're terribly slow to begin with. We're getting there; it's just taking a long time. |

Re: Trickster: The game
The website for Trickster said you guys would get 2nd job in October. That's the only reason I ask.

It actually said more information would be released.
Which didn't happen, but everyone knows everything about it already, so it doesn't matter. |

Re: Trickster: The game
Haha this thread is old.
They announced second jobs for January. It's very unlikely that I'll care enough to play more than, say, 10 minutes. 2007 is going to be the best Wii year EVER, so my time for anything else is going to be incredibly limited. 2007 Wii: Elebits WarioWare Mario Galaxy Metroid Prime 3 Super Smash Bros Brawl And that's just the first quarter of the year. So, I'll check it out at least. Other than that, I just don't really care about MMOs anymore. I'm glad Maple burnt me out and that Trickster was a nice step down from Maple back into console gaming. |

Re: Trickster: The game
Not dead yet. My real life friend now plays this and is level 26. I was level 21 when he left yesterday, but now I'm level 31.
Over 1K damage crit. I'm working on maxing Burning Rave right now. I have 1 point from max on that buff that boosts attack, too. I play on the Ruby server. My IGNs are Beatdown and Recursive, but I only really play Beatdown. I'll probably quit again if my friend stops playing or rarely ever plays, but if you guys can come back for a little while, I'll hang around. It's about the time you'd get back interested in this game, right? So let's have some fun. Even if you think you still hate it, go ahead and sign on and play for a bit. Odds are you just had a very boring experience and it turned you in the wrong direction. Of course there's going to be a lot of boredom if there's a lot of fun before it. Don't let that boredom that made you quit kill you from eevn opening the game. It's worth a play, you'll enjoy it. |
