Re: The Solo Scores Thread
Some scores from a brand new solo player. I know, they are pretty terrible, but gimme a break I'm learning. Been working at it for just over 2 weeks now. Tips would be good. I would go into detail about the songs but I'm already taking up a bunch of space as it is.
This is a great sim to practice for 3 or more notes at once. Really good idea. |

Re: The Solo Scores Thread
Probably practice memorizing and internalizing all the different kinds of patterns that can appear in a solo chart; 2+3 jumps, 1+3 jumps, 1+2 jumps, the various kinds of transistions and such. Consider playing files on shuffle so that every run though is a brand new batch of patterns; with shuffle there are 720 different charts that can come up.

Re: The Solo Scores Thread
That's ok Kraezy, as long as you keep playing and practice on different types of charts (stream, chords, etc), you should continue to improve really well.
Also, really good scores everyone. Beastly MA as usual masa. Ok, scores. Dunno what's good and lolbad. Really random one-day skill jump...went from this yesterday (a score that's typical of what I usually get on SL): To this: Last edited by MeaCulpa; 07-14-2009 at 11:07 PM.. |

Re: The Solo Scores Thread
@Patashu: Thats a great idea actually. It would give me more charts to work with, since i don't have many songs for solo haha. I also improved my reading speed tonight. I can comfortably play at C600 where before was only about C475.
Finally B'd LuneNOIR on Heavy! And I can keep up a lot better with Rockhill Heavy. I forgot to take pics, but they are both much higher. I'm really excited for another beginner pack. Xiaos are excellent so far. |

Re: The Solo Scores Thread
I think I need to re-download 3.9 for solo or something, I hate having to change the key configuration each time I want to play solo instead of normal SM holy fuc
Maybe I should just learn how to play index and rings 8) |

Re: The Solo Scores Thread
I keep 3.95 for Singles and 3.9 for Solo. Much easier and faster to switch between the two without having to change key setups and maybe SM profiles.

Re: The Solo Scores Thread
They're loading now, Photobucket was refusing to connect earlier.
Your streaming scores are better than songs with more chords as expected of most beginners. Not bad, but keep practising on hitting chords. Lune Noir/Rockhill heavy is impressive though. Try Zenius heavy. @Mea: That SL is lolbad
