You knew there was a reason I would correct grammar, didn't you?
Golly-gee. Now post desktops so I can yell at you all for doing it wrong despite the fact that there is no right or wrong. ~Squeek |

EWW EUREKA SEVEN OMG =((((((
Don't see why you couldn't put away Classic or BSplayer. You only need one. Even so, both could go in quicklaunch. You need to get a higher resolution as well. I thought you were a 1280 x 1024 person. What happened man. ~Squeek ps - i fixed my last.fm sig =))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) pps still looking for a new wallpaper except that all of them suck Last edited by Squeek; 07-4-2006 at 11:41 PM.. |

Re: Post your desktop thread ~5th style~
My video card overheated and ****ed itself over. Using 1280 is a very very bad idea.
bsplayer doesn't play MKVs properly, whereas MPC does. MPC, however, is extremely ugly and clunky. I've never used quicklaunch hahaha. |

Re: Post your desktop thread ~5th style~
Ever try The Core Media Player like I told you?
It's not failed me yet. Played every format I have. MKV, OGG, AVI, DIVX, and WMV. Also, finding a wallpaper that isn't abstract, planetary, or bright is proving to be impossibly hard. I don't want another snowy scene like the one I have. Every site I've been through has just made me more annoyed at what some people call wallpaper. =/ ~Squeek |

I never set firefox to download anywhere other than my desktop, so I have too much stuff on it.
Consequesntly, I usually have icons hidden: But, I turned them on for you folks. Had to up the resolution to see them all, also. |

Re: Post your desktop thread ~5th style~
Anybody who bitches about how many icons somebody has is retarded. People can have tons of icons and still find stuff on their desktop. I keep "a whole lot of icons" because my start menu is HUGE and Windows is stupid and sorts it alphabetically, but in chunks, so I can never find what I'm looking for. I keep all my desktop icons in the same place so I can click on them right away. It's easier for me, and that's what matters. stfu about icons
PS: My desktop is still the same ole moon-crashing-into-Earth picture as last time. I forget who else had the same wallpaper, but that annoyed me. XD

What sized monitor should you have to run on 1280 x 1024?

When a program is installed, it makes a folder. The folder has a readme, a shortcut to the producer's website, a shortcut to the official website, an uninstall icon, the actual program shortcut, and any number of other things they feel like putting in there. Here's what you do! You take the shortcut and move it somewhere else. Then you delete the rest of the crap you'll never use along with the folder. You can even just move them up one folder so that the start menu "Programs" is all just shortcuts to programs! Ingenius! ps as I said if you have a lot of windows open, it's more annoying having to minimize them all (even with WindowsKey+D) to get to the desktop to start the program you want to use. Better to just be able to open it without messing with your active window at all. ~Squeek |
