Upadated OP. Relaxed the gimmick rule. After playing through Barbecue a lot it became apparent that if I wanted it in the pack I needed to lighten the rule. It's not crazy or anything, but better safe than sorry. I have also decided I want to go back to a larger background size because I think it just looks better. Even if I have to make all the sets myself damnit haha

Accepting Magnolia and Death Parade OP, can't wait for the new version of Desire! And we are at 10 files now. Keep up the great work folks!

I guess I'll stop being lazy and work on my file again.
I'd be willing to judge Barbecue, although I have no judging experience

Yea, was too lazy to buttsync most of the song cus the unstable bpm.
Also wasn't sure if its better to have a static bpm or, have it syncd which will cause 10~15+-bpm changes all over the place.

So big news everyone - I just bought a house.

Why post that here? Because possession date is the 1st of June, which is the packs deadline date. And because I will be fairly scarce on the site around then, I'm going to extend the deadline to the 1st of August. After that, I'll do whatever graphics are needed, and finalize the pack. I have set a tentative release date of August 15 - in or around there, anyways.

Sorry if this inconveniences anyone! I'll try and to my best for the rest of the pack!

Received. And it's awesome I think when the chorus comes around for the last time at 233.776 (on SM5), you should add the background drums where the freezes are, since otherwise it feels a tiny bit anticlimactic. Just an idea. Also if you want, I have a slightly higher quality version of the song. Maybe a v2? Let me know what you think! Otherwise, the sync is great, the song is awesome, and the difficulty is great for this pack!

Also received pp's updated Desire and Death Parade OP. Both updates are fantastic, thanks so much!

rparty - I should have some time this weekend to have a go at Spring Chrysanthemum, but I'm really not liking how my chart is turning out. If you want to find someone else to collab with, that's totally cool; I'm struggling to get something creative out of this song that I'm happy with. Let me know what you think.

I can have a shot if you guys don't mind a 3-way collab?

ok v1.5 i'll called it since its not really a 2.0. changes. i took your advise and added more drum. in medium i just added an extra note for some of the drum beats and hard i added some more technical fun stuff. i was actually thinking of making an even harder version with that kind of stuff in it but i thought i would hold off and i think it would make better sense to include it here instead :P oh, and feel free to add a better quality version of the song.

storn - the v2 is a lot better but there is a freeze that should be changed at the beginning of the first chorus that isn't consistent with the rest of the chorus or any of the ones in the rest of the song. The climactic chorus though is a lot better. So if you want I can change the one and then it should be good?

Double D - That would be awesome! Can't wait to see what you send in

Jimmy - I'm totally down with that, but we'll see what rparty says since it's his file to start with

i don't mind the three way collab.

If you don't like how it turns out, just try again. You got plenty of time.

rparty - thanks dude. I'll figure something out and we'll send our finished charts to him and go from there. I'm working on a second chart for my second file at the moment, but I'll give it another go, for sure.

Zero - I appreciate that! If I get overwhelmed with them I'll let you know. My problem is usually coming up with ideas for the gfx; and in a more technical sense, getting the text in them halfway decent

blind - I have some notes for Woke Up Too Early
The file is a fun file, but it's inconsistent. There is nothing where there could be something, and some of the jumps don't quite make sense... are you using them on just the beats or the beats and the piano? I think it needs a bit of a re-arrangement is all

For now though, I'm just going to give you notes on syncing issues. All numbers are their respective beats on SM 5.0.8

at beat 16 the notes are too early - listening at a lower speed, it sounds to me like they should be 32nds on beat 15.875, 16.375 and 16.875
at beat 21 I can only hear the one piano note at 21.125 so you can get away with removing the 16th
at beat 25 I can only hear the 2 quick notes, so you can get rid of that 16th as well
at beat 38.5 there is another 32nd burst. This is the challenge chart, so you can get away with adding it if you want (personally I think you should add it) and this goes for the rest of the chart too. If you want to, you can keep it at one burst and make it a hard chart. Just an idea.
the 16th can go at b41, because it's the same piano notes from b21

there is a hand at 66.5 which isn't consistent with the rest of the file
beat 70.625 the 32nd can go because I only there is no piano there
the hands at 80.5 and 82.5 can be regular jumps for consistency's sake
if you are trying to hit the piano at 91.667 you can make it an 8th at 91.5 instead
that jump burst at 92.75 doesn't make sense to me... it's just a 16th jack starting with an 8th at 92.5
the freeze at 96 actually starts at 95.75
the piano burst at 99.5 is an 8th and a 64th to me
the freeze at 101.5 actually starts at 101.75 and the following freezes are 32nds at 102.375 and 103.083
the freezes starting after 104.5 are mostly 32nds at 105.125, 105.875, the 8th is good and the last one is 107.125
the piano burst starts with a 32nd on 108.625 and the 64th immediately after
the freeze at 112 starts at 111.75
the piano burst starts with the 8th at 114.5 with the 64th immediately after
the freezes at 117.5 and 118.5 start a 32nd earlier

Hope it helps!
