Re: FFR Suggestions
I noticed that Speedcore 300 and *Winning* were removed from the levelranks. Wouldnt it be better to move them to Disabled so we can see what the stats were when they existed?

Re: FFR Suggestions
Random song between difficulty x and y not including AAA'd and/or FC'd files should be implemented.

Re: FFR Suggestions
Niala you can do that already on Velocity engine.
Pick all the difficulties you DON'T want and click on AAA and FC, then swap the search to "Hide All". Voila, gives you all the non-FC'd non-AAA'd songs of only the difficulties you DIDN'T specify. Hacky as goddamn hell but it works. |

Re: FFR Suggestions
Genius lololol. Love the idea.
Also, I must say, is there any way you guys could make it to where the general public can view the submitted suggestions that used that new form? That way we don't waste our ONE QUESTION FOR LIFE on something someone already asked?

Re: FFR Suggestions
Yes, but say I want to suggest that the FFR Perfect Project be made into a legitimate FFR project, that had the attention of the community more by making it well known and most likely giving it its own form to fill out and submit, etc. I don't want to suggest this if plan has already suggested it. See what I'm saying? I'm not going to wait for an eternity to submit EVERY idea I have, because quite honestly I will probably not run out of ideas. Therefore, I figure I'll submit what is important to me, and move on with life suggesting other things in this thread.
That said, I stand by my request to just make the suggestions visible to everyone, that way we aren't repeating things.

Re: FFR Suggestions
The more things are repeated, the greater people want it. Just look at it like a poll, the higher the votes, the higher priority.

How can people agree on it if the suggestions aren't visible?

Re: FFR Suggestions
Allow for dynamic scroll rate changes, so we can have a special (token!!!!!!!) xmod song every once in a while (about as often as new 13s are released). Just like the *winning* gimmick I think it could be fun, and add some extra reason for top players to keep playing the game. But it definitely shouldn't be a regular or expected feature of the game.

Re: FFR Suggestions
There'll be people that like it, and people that don't...it's hit and miss really. Interesting idea, but I agree it wouldn't need to be a regular feature by any means.

Re: FFR Suggestions
I know this might take a while and possibly be hard to implement with the amount of songs that already exist, but i Really want to play 1 player doubles mode like how DDR has two sets of arrows right next to each other and the arrows shift from one side to the other so you would be going from right hand to left hand and vice versa. Plus, mirror mode would allow you to play the parts with the opposite hand in case one side is harder. This could spark new interest in the veteran players because the game play would be so different.
In addition to this option, there could be a setting for local challenges/multiplayer head-to-head on the same computer, or you could just use your other hand to try and execute the same patterns with both hands at the same time. Secondly, being able to change the difficulty on songs is ideal when some song may be liked very much by a player but the difficulty can make the song boring depending on the type of music. Not really sure how this would be achieved because of the vast majority of songs by so many different artists but it would be a great addition to new songs to have a difficulty option which for example could be played from 1-5 or 6-13 depending on the general speed of the song. These songs could have a label/sign on or around the title to indicate whether or not it has adjustable difficulty levels. Third, I think it would be cool to be able to search for songs by style possibly in the same location you can search for songs by name or difficulty. A list of the styles in alphabetical order with the song name next to it would make it much easier to find the types of songs that are preferred. Lastly, a sound calibrator for the offset option would make it much easier for players to find exactly how far off they need to offset their visual in order to optimize their performance. In addition to this, giving the calibration option the capability to receive a number input with 2 decimals to get an exact offset. Well, that's all I got,
