You should start with making simple files, but you can't step those forever.

@EnR: Maybe for you but what about the newer players? You think they're just gonna play some Hardkore Atomic for fun? Also I believe FFR is starting to get too much hard songs and needs more easy ones. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
That's a true statement, though, because stepping easy files well is much less difficult than stepping hard files well.

Just like Keaton had a mashup of Cranky and Eminim that would've been fun to step, but Dj v.s Dj or mashup song permissions conufuse. For example: On this Protagonist Records sample thing you can get from SGX's shop there is a song called Battery Life that would make a great Difficult or Tricky file. Think First Try minus the 32nds with some 16ths. but at a lower BPM

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
yeah we wouldn't have permission, even if it is sharpnel's song, unless you could somehow make an exception with permission

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
@dore: Let me clarify. What I meant to say was that Coolboyrulez seemed to be advising to step easy files for the sake of becoming a simfile author, but Coolboyrulez cleared that up and I apologized.
