This is mad. If I pasted the link right anyway. It's thing about the people queing outside for the Wii's launch in the UK. Nintendo showed up and gave people free Wii blankets, Wii hats and watch's. Game (the store) gave people pizza and food and that. Insane.

Re: The Wii is Here.
I just got Maden 07 for the Wii. Overall not much different from 06 besides the superstar mode(which is the only reason why i buy Madden). I do like the motion controls although at times they're a little difficult.

Re: The Wii is Here.
To browse on the wii, do you only need a wireless connection at your house? For instance, do I need to DL another browser or something? Does it help?
Thanks

Wii is wi-fi so all you need is a broadband connection on a computer and a router. Also, finding this thing is like finding a needle in a haystack. No stores around me have this thing. -_-

Re: The Wii is Here.
Just wanting to make sure, but are you able to play the VC games with the Gamecube controller? I am probably going to the mall tomorrow, and I want to know if I need to buy two controllers. Thanks.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Dunlop, it depends on the game, but most if not all VC games out right now can use it I think, or the Classic controller if you'd prefer that. Some can even just use the Wiimote... you can ask me about any particular game and I can check if you'd like.
Edit: I actually just checked, and it seems that all NES, Genesis, and TurboGrafx games can use any of the 3 controllers, while SNES and N64 can use either Gamecube or Wii's Classic controller.

Re: The Wii is Here.
For VC games, they tell you when you buy them online what controllers you can use for them.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Thanks again Jamuko and Ducky.
Right now, I don't see any game that really jumps out except for Mario 64. I'm really just waiting until Super Mario World comes out. Finally get to play Wind Waker!

Re: The Wii is Here.
I have a question.
I never owned a Gamecube. Would it be a good idea to buy a GC controller for playing games on the Wii or not? I plan on getting a lot of classic NES and SNES games, by the way, and I hear SSBB plays with a GC controller... that doesn't sound 100% right to me, though. I guess I just get the feeling that Nintendo will put out a controller which is identical to the GC controller in feel and use, but better in some way (ie wireless in the same way a wiimote is).
