Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
I've been out of town on the beach with no internet for quite a while. I got on today for a bit, but I probably won't be submitting scores for the tourney unless I somehow find a place to do so. I would happily take 2nd place though if I'm holding you up and it needs to end.

Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
We are already doing 13's?!
Also now that I started school two days ago I am not going to be very active for the next few rounds. I have this weekend to play Revo but the next rounds I might not have time. EDIT: can someone give me the velocity link please? I lost it. EDIT2: nevermind im just going to play it once and thats my score. I would rather do homework than whore this stupid chart.

I agree. This has not gone as well as the first one.

Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
Summer is over, and so is this tourney. Glad I dropped when I did, I see it pretty much went to shit about half a round after I left.
Don't feel bad Mid, it would have done really well, and wasn't even bad as is, but you probably could have done better (updates mostly, organization) with a few co-hosts. Running a whole tourney by yourself (unless you're Soco) is pretty rough. Especially a tourney with this kind of complex set of rules. Not saying it's too difficult to comprehend, but to enforce them and follow them yourself, all by yourself is a bit of a challenge with only 24hrs in a day, minimum of which you're asleep for probably 7-10 of them. =S |

Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
I thought it went pretty well. I just didn't want to pick my own songs, I hate doing that. There's a reason I almost always random in the game, or pick the top of the list sorted w/e way. I rarely just pick a song and play it.

I think the biggest problem was not only my lack of updates, but everyone's skill boosts kinda came right after the first round started which made the placements odd. As for the credit prizes I'm very happy with the donations everyone pitched in and it was a lot bigger than expected. I need to work out some more format issues for the next one for sure. I think a best of 7 was a little much, I should done best of 5 for finals. Then there was a lot of people who didn't end up submitting and dropping which as a host makes me sad, and actually a little angry to. Oh well. Lots of little kinks to make this perfect for the next time. |

Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
Anddd I don't think I could ever touch Sweet Feet's score. Sorry for not submitting round 2... I became obsessed with Stepmania then forgot all about the tourney.

Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
roflmao, don't worry, I'm back down to average, due to me being away from FFR for a couple days. Trust me, this may end up like me and zero's battle. (double-overtime wise, not me getting an unfair win.)

Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
you just got 13 on perfect cherry storm that's not really average. Even at my best I couldn't do that on that song. >.>

Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
Oh uhh... *cough* ... I think it's a good thing I didn't save the replay, then.. Cause I had 10 clean but on the VERY LAST BURST I was spaced out or something, and I dumped 3 goods, a miss, and a boo. :'( My original goal was to go into FFR scores and go "sup Scarlet". But clearly, that wouldn't have worked.

Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
I personally don't see why I should bother submitting a score. In the last round, my opponent didn't even bother submitting a score. If he doesn't take it serious to a certain extent, then I don't see why I should.

Re: Midnight's Summer Tourney
Because if neither of you do, then technically, nobody wins that round. If he's really not going to submit scores, simply just dump out some random score that can be easily improved, in case he actually decides to post.
EDIT: Epic 1000 post get.
