for some reason (don't ask me why) we like to pretend that everyone is the seer, and since the seer gets a random green result before the game starts (a "green check") we all make up pretend green checks so that when someone dies we get a soft confirmation because if they green check a green player then the wolves think they may potentially be the seer

If I was a wolf then I'd just kill whoever town read me so I don't think it works as well as people like to pretend, but you might as well just go along with it
