One, this isn't actually going to happen is it?

Two, if Texas does somehow make the unwise decision to secede and become its own country, and the US allows this, I predict it'd only be a matter of time before Mexico invaded and took over Texas as part of Mexico.

So Texans, would you rather be part of the US or part of Mexico? LOL

Just so we're clear...Madmatt, are you actually talking about this from a perspective, as a Texan, of wanting this to succeed?

i don't want to speak for him but it seems like he's more trying to carve out a middle ground in that sorta conciliatory "maybe these guys have a point" way which is ridiculous

although it's very possible that he actually supports this shit which would be...quite something

I'm a Texas resident with the intent to move back to Florida.

Texas would do better as an energy power-state by itself then with the United States as a whole.

Then you know nothing about anything, and I'm all kinds of done with entertaining the idea that you might know anything about anything.

If they succeed at seceding, what then?

When there starts becoming giant interstate taxes, because it's now foreign importing/exporting, what then?

When stupid people from Texas try to argue on the internet, WHAT THEN?

1836. Mexico wasn't pleased. Mexico invaded Texas in 1842. Even after Texas became a state, Mexico still didn't recognize their independence. This continued with the Mexican-American War from 1846-48 with Mexico surrendering.

DotKritic (whose name i always read as DocKitric for some reason)'s posts are so lacking in vehemence that arguing with/flaming him is pretty comical. he's basically a bot lmao

I think Madmatt is like some sort of Turing test candidate -- one of Skynet's first incarnations.
