Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
hexiom badges are insane. I can get the 3 one, but not the others. There's prolly a secret code out there as of what to do, but I don't know it =P

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Only one I can't get is the imp badge in it, which I barely even bothered after I first saw how big a random generated 6 is, I'd have to practice a lot to be able to meet the req. for it =/

Tera, for Hexiom impossible, just go through a whole bunch of generated random 6's until you find one that looks easier than the rest and attempt it. Eventually after a number of tries you'll encounter patterns and specifics to look for in each puzzle and it gets easier, albeit with three minutes, you'll have to move fast anyway. Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I haven't tried it since it was changed.... but I was told from someone else that it was 300 at the start, then 100+level*5 for everything else... i don't know if that is actually the case? or, if it was that way for a little bit and then changed again by the creator?

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I finally got SCGMD3 imp. badge =P Those songs were too long and weren't very pleasant to the ear if you know what I mean.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I didn't notice any 100 + level*5 increases, just 100... mind you it was so damn easy I didn't really pay much attention to my ore after wave 7 or 8.
Nice job rushy, I still need 4 more perfects on that game but they're on the 4 longest songs and I can't get through any of them without lagging... it sucks, too, because the game is ****ing easy. Almost at 300 ships destroyed on Starfighter. |

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
To clear up the Drone Wars issue, you start off with 300 and get 100 each round for always and eternity... or until you die. =)
Whoever made the Shield Defence hard badge is on some questionable drugs. If there was like a 45 pt badge, this should so be one. I don't know why they're limiting themselves to 5, 15, 30, and 60 point badges, why not venture into the beyond, a.k.a. in between?

Even with the limit, I don't even know how to reach it without using mass amount of extension rings. I barely got the hard badge out of that. Do you guys think there's any method of obtaining this impossible badge? |

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I got to the restaurant, myself... but only once. I can get quite a ways past Pluto almost every time, but I can't seem to get lucky enough to get back up there.
Best way to get there IMO (there's no sure-fire way): 1. go horizontally until the water looks idle. 2. launch up at anywhere from a 30 to 60 degree angle (depending on how confident you are with your speed.) 3. hope for a lucky starslide. If you catch one, hit the up button as quickly as possible and launch off (in most cases, it doesn't launch you very high the first time.) 4. keep repeating step 3 until you build up about 4 starslides and have passed or have gotten to the nebula. 5. *this part is kinda tricky* fall back down into the water while holding the down button and straighten yourself out horizontally as quickly as possible, then while still holding the down button, get yourself almost parallel to the water line so you get a nice, speedy tailslide going and jump off as soon as possible. (this shouldn't take 3 seconds... if it takes more, practice until you're able to almost every time.) 6. hope for good starslides and launch up. If done correctly, you should end up around Neptune (left side, blue planet). If you still have 20 or more seconds at Neptune, stop trying for starslides and fall back down. Once you've gotten a good downward speed, hold the down button and repeat step 5 (this will be extremely hard not to hit the bottom.) 7. you should now be flashing by planets like they're on a strobe light. If you get really lucky with your starslides around Jupiter and around Neptune/Pluto, you will get to the restaurant. *note* extentions also help a lot with your time in the beginning. They won't matter once you get past Saturn.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Whoa... I didn't think you could launch off starslides. I thought you could only tail slide on them.
I'll be sure to test this out. Thanks. |

Woo, got the other three Boxhead: Zombie Wars badges I needed yesterday. Finally had access to a much better computer.
Now to get those four Monster's Den: Book of Dread badges... >_> |

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Does anyone actually like Monster's Den? I cannot stand 5 minutes of the game. Too bad they both have a lot badges.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I think it's a really good concept, and that it's just the long badges that piss everyone off. Also, I got the impossible on the first one yesterday =)

I don't like the Monster's Den games. Maybe if they were a little more like Sonny, they would be better, but the battle interface is just lame. EDIT: HOLY CRAP Mr. Bounce lags the hell out of my comp. I swear I spent 2 hours trying to get that hard badge (at least I got it =P) but it was to the point where 1 second on the tick down clock was about 45 seconds in real life. If you have a 2004 or sooner computer, don't even try...
