Because commute isn't something we normally come across. InD even commented earlier how he forgot about it and thought it was a good idea. More importantly it just happened to be on the same night I used my commute.

Not to mention that maybe someone wanted to send you something useful, like a Seering or something. Speaking of items, you say you didn't want to have items because they were related to death? Well.. only 1 item killed people so far, and you were sending out the rest of them. Unless this is to say the fortune cookies were to tell the fortune of someone's death, which town would have no idea about.

Speaking of dreams, none of yours have been town orientated. You personally sent out items which caused chaos in town, were involved in someone's death appearently and then just self pres. Btw sending these items just makes people more used to using them so bad things can happen later when they use bad items.
