Re: League of Legends
Annie is a good option for learning mages. Builds normally for AP casters, minimal skillshots, and shits on most people pretty easily.
Ryze is the other option. No skillshots at all, builds tanky but still does stupid high damage, has free sustain. Scales really well, you will feel powerful as shit lategame. The only downside is that the items Ryze buys are really specific and Ryze builds basically don't work for anyone else. Kinda weak early, but rarely will you find someone who knows how to punish that weakness. Or you can just play the Bronzodia champions: Blitz, Amumu, Malphite. Free wins at low level. Nobody is coordinated, but it's REALLY hard even for idiots to miss when a Blitz gets a hook or Malphite ults. It basically forces your team to coordinate and then you win the fight gg The other two pieces of Bronzodia are Shen because nobody can deal with his teleport and the fact he builds tanky and gets unkillable, and Yi because nobody knows how to kite and if he gets one kill, he will remain invulnerable for the rest of the fight and kill everyone

I know of pretty much all the possible midlaners (and some that are viable) eg. my friend told me to try Malhazzar because he thinks he's broken or something and I would get along with his skills after playing Lux |

Re: League of Legends
Ok, Try Morgana or Twisted Fate, both are very fun skillshot playstyles.

I only ever win when I'm able to convince the team to work together while I set up kills/grab them for myself

Re: League of Legends
use champions, i list em in order of importance for solo queue
1) zed (there's a reason why he's banned so often, you can burst down just about anyone and get out alive) 2) tf (really high skillcap in regards to positioning, warding, teamfighting), level 6 timing of your ult can snowball you entire game if used right (ex. counterganking enemy jungler+bot @ bot) 3) fizz/orianna - fizz: insane burst, has disjoint skill.. still a threat even when behind, ori: insane utility and great damage.. teamfighting as well, you use Q+R+W 4) kassadin (if you're good with kass you can carry to challenger np) - he's called godssadin in korea solo queue for a reason, you're tanky AND you have insane roam 5) gragas, insane mobility and burst - not to mention innate sustain with 2% max hp regen every spellcast + free mana regen using W which also gives insane AD so you can last hit no problem ?) ahri - she's getting nerfed really soon ?) ryze - situational pick, better @ top |

Re: League of Legends
tf is pretty cheap right now (IP wise) and I don't have enough for Zed so I'll go pick him up and give him a shot. Thanks guys.

Re: League of Legends
Orianna is pretty much always going to be good. She was good in season 2 and she's been good in season 3. The versatility of her kit and her safety in lane combined with her unique ult pretty much guarantee she is always going to be somewhat relevant no matter what the meta is.
Definitely worth picking up Ori if you are a midlaner, in my opinion. She's rather difficult to play and really fun, to boot.

Re: League of Legends
Yeah Brand would be good too.
Only thing about learning Xerath is that he's got a complete rework on the PBE already so he's not going to stay as-is for very long Also his rework is pants-on-head retarded strong at the moment so that bodes well I guess.
