Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Really, really enjoyed the Fire Emblem speedrun even though most of chat seemed to be on the ResidentSleeper train the whole run.
Best run so far though was definitely I Wanna Be the Boshy. Absolutely fuckin' hilarious commentary.

Which one? There were like three weren't there? Seems to be a thing now ever since Punch Out.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Really enjoying running Wings of Vi. Been awhile since I've speed run anything seriously. I have a few runs under my belt and already have my time down to 1:19, which is 20 minutes faster than my last run. Might take a run at the leaderboards and a sub 1 hr time if I keep improving like this. 1st try kill on every boss that run I think except for 1 death on Kratarac and Twin Orcs and 2 deaths on supreme J. Most of my deaths were platforming derps XD Had a nearly flawless path of decay and almost shat myself until I died probably 20 times on the last skeleton bus part. God damnit.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Solgryn games just seem to be extraordinarily speedrunnable, and I'm glad he's so receptive to it. They make for really fun runs to watch.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
Yeah. He hangs around in the twitch channels and watches runners. He's obviously either a speedrunner himself or really enjoys it, and you can see it in his games. Just don't tell him about glitches that are beneficial to runners, he likes to patch them.

Re: The Speedrunning Thread
So the dude who ran Tetris at GDQ, Kevin Birrell, one upped himself last night.
He scored Grand Master and I think only 6 others have ever done this, but he's the first outside of Japan. http://www.twitch.tv/kevinddr/b/617073091
