Re: World of Warcraft
I'm still whoring achievements. Loremaster of Kalimdor is taking forever though, but I did get it from 190/730 to 600/730. Also doing all these quests did wonders for my rep.

Re: World of Warcraft
When I was farming Zaxxis Insignia for my Consortium rep, I'd routinely pull 8-12 of the ethereals and come out of it at about 50%hp and 100% mana. Pally tanks are retarded good for grinding now.

I stopped playing till the 14th though, patch 3.0 is so ridiculous that high-end raiding isn't fun anymore. I mean, it was cool because I got to see 5/6 down in Sunwell, which I probably wouldn't have been able to see otherwise, but it was very anti-climactic to see the bosses fall after only an hour of work when I know guilds like SK Gaming had to do it the right way. Nerdscreams etc. etc. I know there's a video either on youtube or warcraftmovies.com of a Voidwalker tanking Illidan through the whole fight (they had FR tanks for the Flames of Azzinoth), and it's just like why even play anymore? Done ranting.

Take an average group of level 60s who spent 58-60 in outland doing quests, and running ramps/bf/sp and then put them in one of the pre-BC end-game raids and you'd see much the same effect. The purpose of the raid nerf was to get people gear that might actually last them past level 71 quest blues, let them get the reps they needed and wanted before getting bogged down with Northrend, and basically, just to keep people playing between then and release, since they'd otherwise say just what you're saying "Why bother, I'll be getting better gear off trash, I'll just go do something else" |

Re: World of Warcraft
Sorry, my main is Horde on Darrowmere, 70 Undead Lock and a 52 Pally. On Mok'Nathal I have an 18 Night Elf Druid and he has an 18 Human Pally.

You could do that pre 3.0 patch as well. The only difference is, now you can do it in blues. |

Re: World of Warcraft
Well, I mean you can do that now when your healer's very first fight as a level 70 is Nightbane.

Re: World of Warcraft
Well I started playing my warrior again. Prot specced. Got him from 62-64 in one day because it was just that goooood. AOE tanking instances like a palain.
However I'll probably level my priest to 80 first, he's six levels closer anyways =P |

Re: World of Warcraft
Well now that my Priest is 70 I'm starting to level my Warrior. Level 23 right now, I'm going prot even though everyone says dps is better for leveling. Also have a 20 Lock.
My guild's been doing Kara gear runs to help me gear up for ZA and Lich King. Anyone else waiting in line tomorrow night? |

Granted paladins are still better at AOE tanking, but if you played a warrior pre 3.0 it's absolutely AMAZING and super fun right now. Honestly if my warrior was 68 I'd take him into Northrend way before my 2 BT geared 70s. |

Re: World of Warcraft
So I just got two sets of Season 2 PvP gear for free. Will probably be gone by tomorrow morning though. I'm expecting restarts to resolve the glitch.

Yeah, biggest cluster **** I've ever seen. I've seriously seen **** fights in monkey cages more organized than last night in Champions Hall. I laughed at all the people who got rid of their old gear for omg free epics, now they're ****ed.

Smart people would have bought them to disenchant.

Didn't know you could do that to PvP rewards.
