Yah, I guess it really does depend on the situation.

Re: World of Warcraft
Warriors can still do it, they just need to be a jewcrafter AND a blacksmith. That way they can maximize their health to be able to take a full hit from Sarth's dragonsbreath.
Guild 1 shotted 3Drakes and I managed to get 31k health unbuffed

Re: World of Warcraft
Well 30k unbuffed gets dropped down to 22.5k from the HP debuff. Which is why the flamebreath is hard to survive. Fully raid buffed you'll probably get up to like ~28k and then you'll have to make sure you pop shield wall and last stand when each of the drakes drop to make sure you survive

Re: World of Warcraft
I have a problem with priests.
Shadow priests are ****! So anyone who makes a priest just winds up becoming a healer anyway. What's the point? Huntards are OP.

Re: World of Warcraft
what rofl
Shadow priests can put out insane DPS if they know what they're doing. They can also Mind Control which is extremely useful when raiding. |

Re: World of Warcraft
Shadow priests are amazing. They are a very skill dependent class.
Example: A RL friend of mine went on a trial raid in Naxx with my guild. He downed KJ pre 3.0, so he's ****ing good at playing. On Maexxena he put on all of his 70 raiding gear, with a few 80 items to raise his hit up a bit and got 6th on dps(On heroic of course). Where 6th was like 3.6k, he out dps'd a shadow priest that was already in the guild with full best in slot items.

Re: World of Warcraft
It can happen if the fully geared priest was webbed several times or his job was to get people out of webs.

Re: World of Warcraft
Or if the fully geared priest can't play half as well as the good priest. Regardless a class like shadow priests your rotation is just as important as your gear.
Whereas a mage or a hunter is completely dependent on gear seeing as it's just the timing of your main cast that determines your dps

Re: World of Warcraft
Went to 10 man naxx tonight with a group of friends from an old raid guild I was in. Got a new ring and t7 shoulders. I would have rolled on a clothie helm also, but a druid from their guild rolled on it as well. Even though he could have found a leather helm, I let it go so as to not seem greedy. I also traded in badges for the t7 chestpiece tonight. Brings me to 3 pieces of my t7 set. Would like to see the helm drop for me, seeing as I have BiS for legs right now. But all in all, it was a good raid tonight.

Re: World of Warcraft
Also did 10-man naxx with my guild, since everyone's back from being away. Got a neck that is not for shaman and doesn't replace what I have and a cloak that is for healers and also doesn't replace what I have.
It sucks because my neck and cloak are blues. |

Re: World of Warcraft
Oh my. It seems as though I was misunderstood.
I never meant to say shadow priests were terrible. I meant to say they aren't anything to brag about in a battleground or pvp in general.

Re: World of Warcraft
My guild had a sort of switch flipped on Tuesday after the guild leader roasted us on the forums for getting lazy.
We cleared Malygos, Sarth+3, and Military Quarter of Naxx. In two hours. Yes.

Re: World of Warcraft
Nobody else wanted them and they were purple and shiny.
Also they're kinda useful for times when I'm not in a raid, but not really. The cloak was for offspec. |

Re: World of Warcraft
I've done that squeek. Take pieces that don't really upgrade you at all as an experiment, then never end up using them, just throwing em to the good old vendor.
My mage won't be complete however til the chest in 10 man maly drops and The Turning Tide decides to drop. I've cleared Naxx at least 10 times and my guild has cleared it like 15 and it hasn't dropped for us once

Re: World of Warcraft
Speaking of drops no one needs, we've gotten the hunter gun of Kel'Thazad for the 6th or 7th week in the roll. We've been disenchanting it for a while now because everyone's hunter and their hunter alts have it. It would be awesome if KT dropped some melee dps weapon for once.
