Hexiom Connect...
Stuck on Level 22, sadly. I got the card and two of the badges at least. If anyone could help me on Level 22, that would be nice. =\ |

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Size 3 24 seconds very first try
I kinda like Hexiom better because I can just look at the general nature of the pieces and have a better idea where to stuff them. Here, it's all visual. I can only plan ahead so far.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
The last ten levels are torturous because it's just like "UNGH a huge mess again. Time to make sense of it." By Level 38 I was literally just sludging it through painfully. Wanted the game to be over so badly, lmao. Luckily it is a fairly logical game.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
i really don't like the game. so i used a walkthrough for the last 10 levels. didn't want to waste my time to figure them out.
still need to do the random 4 under 3 minutes though. got one in a little under 5.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
Size 4 in 1:33 first try
A Size 6 would make a very formidable Impossible Badge. However, it'd probably not be fun at all, and would be extremely painful to solve for. I'm glad Greg didn't make an Imp badge for a Size 6. Not being able to really plan ahead sucks horribly. It's like "oh, crap I need a piece with an upper left red. Where can I rip it from?" so in a sense, the logic's very similar to that of the original Hexiom. However, I can't simply brute-stuff like I could before (putting higher connection tiles in dense areas) because not all high-connection tiles place well with other high-connection tiles, etc. So it's more trial and error this time around, which I intensely dislike.

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
I know we are all talking about Hexiom Connect right now, but I got a question on Epic War. How fricken long does it take to take down the end monster. That thing has 250k life points. It has to take an hour or more to take it out. Is there any tips for beating it?

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
How would one go about transferring a GemCraft save file from one computer to another?

Re: The Kongregate Brag Thread!
the same way you'd transfer any other save file? go into your application data.
Docs & Settings / User / Application Data / Macromedia / Flash Player / #Shared Objects / RandomNumbersLetters / then inside there, you'll find a ton of folders for different websites that have cached flash data... find chat.kongregate.com, then inside should be a bunch of save files for Kong games as well as more folders with more games in them. GemCraft is in the root folder of chat.kongregate.com, under giabGemCraftPreferences and giabGemCraftSaveData. giab = game in a bottle, the game's creator. hope that helps for this as well as any other save game file. just take the file, save it, email it, then put it in the same spot on a new computer. although some games have weird security stuff in the save file. like arcaneCoder added a nice trick to his PillageTheVillage save data... it has your Kongregate username automatically put into the save filename, so if you transfer it to another account, you have to change the save file name to match, otherwise it won't recognize it.
