Re: SM Scores
So, on J4 that would be a combined total of 16 greats and combo breakers?

Why do I even try?
Insane, Dragon. I'm going to work on my speed. Maybe 1.5x SuperShuffle on Overall. |

Re: SM Scores
Very nice scores, Led. I don't see how you can stand playing Kurtzman. That song is like eardrumsqueezingfrequencyofdoom.
Try to get below 100 on Overall. It's weird...I noticed that a rather large portion of Overall scores I've seen have 7 or 8 greats (as do all of mine). o_0 Quote:
P.S. - Nice Salieri score, yourself, Pobel. =P My next J7 goal is AA on FoTS or Southern Cross. |

Re: SM Scores
I think I have, or at least could, SDG Salieri Strikes Back, but my old best for combo breakers was like 7. I'm reeeally bad at runningmen. Will try to SDG with 0-3 CB's next.
Also most of my greats and perfects come in the 8ths because for some reason I have a really hard time MA'ing them. Go for Southern Cross before FotS. IMO anyway, it's way easier to AA on J4, but I don't know about J7. |

Re: SM Scores
My scores on the last page got ignored heh. I thought 80 mil blur 1.2x and 86 mil 1.1x trisection would have been comment worthy.
Ahwell. Hot Salieri Ieat. |

Re: SM Scores
SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION TIME!
I see NO ONE posting scores on this, which is a shame since it's pretty hard to PA/MA. This score here is insane for me, especially the combo, which I lost on the jacks into the quad that I never miss.

Most people don't know that, but yea, I'll just come right out and say it. I'm sure you can pass at least 1.4x once you master the mashing technique. As I recall I can 1.6 or 1.7x. I might try passing it on 2x music tomorrow using a double setup just to get a cool looking score 8)

Re: SM Scores
I still can't pass blur 1.0.
Also, I just got 87 perfects and 2 misses (both in the jack) on Southern Cross, but a pretty lousy 14 greats. And this: Missed a freeze ha. |

Re: SM Scores
Follow the instructions I outlined in the post above and you will pass with ease. You don't even have to hit the keyboard fast...I can hit quads very very slowly during the jacks and still come out with lots of life.
If you still fail using this technique, your keyboard is handicapped and I would suggest getting a new one that is capable of registering better. Either that or try changing your key setup - this can be really really huge. I changed mine recently and it made a HUGE difference. I also got a new monitor, which has been allowing me to read faster and faster Cmods. o_O (though you use C770 which is fast enough). **Another fast reading technique is to move yourself farther away from the monitor. Personally, I've underestimated the importance of reading at a high speed mod until now. It makes the patterns significantly easier to recognize on difficult songs and increases your MA.

Re: SM Scores
Thanks. Still took like 15 tries, but...
I'm still suspicious that my keyboard may be broken. But also, I'm really, really bad at jackhammers. I still have a hard time passing Trisection. Got any advice for making jackhammers half as difficult, or at least for learning how to do them? I have a feeling that there's something very wrong with my technique for jackhammers, because I'm terrible at them. |

Re: SM Scores
Hot Trisection, TRDrag. : O
Really nice Overall freezeflag, Pobel. Good job on the Blur pass, as well. Go for the A! Hehe...really close to the AAA's, Led. You obviously can get them. =P Got a sightread A on Deadalus J7, but I can probably do better, so no SS. : / More sightread J7 stuff: I don't know why I'm posting this score - everything about it is bad XD Pretty good, except for CBs...almost SDG in J4 Just for the pass (look how bad I am at jacks!) I can get close to the Southern Cross AA, but I keep booracing on a few parts (like on the part after the long jack and on one of the jumpstreams). : / J7 is hard lol |

Re: SM Scores
Come on man you should be passing it. All I have to do is mirror it so that the long jacks near the end start on my left hand and it's all good. If you are right handed then you should be passing it. Mash the jacks then mash double jacks for the remainder.
