mattc16 if you are wolfbane, you wouldn't of come out, knowing that you were safe from wolfing and then work at trying to figure out the wolf, avoid getting lynched. Unless, if you were the MW, maybe you could steal light from mead to get yourself in a better postions and get the real wolfsbane out the way.

That makes no sense. If the Bane were actually smart, he would come out as soon as possible which Mead did. The only way Matt (if he truly is the real Bane, which I know he's not) can try to counter this is by trying to force Mead into a corner and trap him.

Of course that's not going to happen anytime soon and Ad's logic is making things worse. Also, has anyoe noticed that Matt hasn't spoken a word SINCE he revealed he "was Bane"? Due to past experiences, the Bane would stay in contact with players, chipping away with small comments to deter any suspicions. Whether Matt can't reach a pc or not, I know we can't trust him.

My God, Chromer, you made sense. Doesn't necessarily mean you're right, though.

The MW may have anticipated thoughts like those, and gotten the jump on saying something. It doesn't seem that way to me, though, since his post came nearly an hour after the result of the night.

I have to lean towards Mead. Mainly because of this part, here. Apparently Pumble had been monitoring the thread activity last night, and said, in a small chat.

The underlined section is what I'm looking at here. Matt had not, to the best of our knowledge, seen the thread at all by the time of 10:50PM last night. He posted the next day (Since his location adds roughly five or six hours to server time) which leads me to believe that he had indeed not seen the thread. I get the feeling he's telling us the truth.

Sorry, Mead. Gotta work with what I think is right, here. You'd play a good act of a Master Wolf acting as the bane, because there's no psychic to tell us if we're right...And you'd never be wolfed yourself.

After reading that quite a few times over. This is my keypoint. He's unsure. AND I know there's an option in the forum to have yourself appear invisible, funnily enought called Invisible Mode. If you look in User CP then Edit Options and then at the top is the option.

I'm going to come back and futher poke this, but as Necamus said, it's 50-50.
Based on the reason that mead came out first. I'm going to place a safety vote on matt just in case I get my timezone wrong or very late from school/work

I never said it actually proves anything. I'm just saying, you're looking more suspicious to me than Matt right now. However, with Matt being so completely inactive it's likely to change. I don't think I like the idea of him sitting back and coasting by on it.

You kind of lost me there.

Hypothetically, if Mead was the MW and Matt as the Bane, then Matt coming out is better than staying quiet. If Matt didn't come out to challenge Mead, then the seer would see no problem in going to Mead. So Matt would almost have to come out to at least make the seer is suspicious of both of them, more importantly Mead who would be the MW. It is better to come out and risk death than practically just hand the Seer over to the MW.

I doubt a wolf would play such a risky move as to pose as the Bane with only two wolves. Expecially the MW. So I also find myself trusting Mead more than Matt. While I was reading through this thread for the first time, when Mead came out as Bane, I was expecting a wolf to point fingers and call him out as a fake. Granted, I have nothing to back this up with, but it was merely a hunch. When Matt did come out, I didn't trust him at all, even though pointing fingers like that is just as risky as faking the Bane.

I'm really not sure what to vote at the moment...but I will say that the seer should NOT contact either Mead or Matt just yet.

I apologise for my inactivity, but I have GCSE's coming up in just under 3 weeks, and these exams can affect the rest of my life so i'm trying to devote as much time as possible to them. It doesn't help that FFR is banned in my school either so i can't get online to make a post from school.

I'm sticking with matt in my vote. Extra reason is that if they were both human (Unlikey, I know, I'm just saying for this reason) I would rather have someone active to hunt the wolves down.
