Layering = placing an arrow when you hear one instrument (say, a piano), rince & repeat with other instruments (say, a guitar). Usually two times, but not limited to that. So sometimes two instruments overlap and create jumps, and often, jumpstreams.

With less than a week remaining, I don't think DDReam is the viable choice for everyone to learn how to efficiently sync a song. (if you want to learn about DDReam, watch who_care's youtube tutorial)

If you can visualize with waveforms well, then go for it.

Almost done! I'm stepping my friend (amateur producer's song) but it has a few thousand listens and hundreds of downloads, so it seems pretty good to me (and to my ears!)

Hope you'll get a song in game, trust me, it feels pretty good. Just remember to brush up the patterns at least 25 times each to make them perfect
