RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: An Appeal To Reason
I'd love to play TWG, it's just that i've put up with Tass's bullshit for too long. I've always sat by him, thinking he helped out the game so much, but what you're doing is tearing this game apart Tass.
Just sit out 1 or 2 games, see what happens. Just don't be an ass...

If there's going to be another TWG, I'm game whether Tass is in it or not. If there isn't then meh.
And Benny, I thought you had already left TWG after being lynched day 1 of that one jTWG? o_O |

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: An Appeal To Reason
Tass,
Get the hell out. I never thought I'd be saying this but I am. Why? These people have a legitimate reason for not wanting to play with you and instead of trying to rectify that or address their problems, you instead fuel the flame war with that long, trolling post of yours that exhibits all of the bad behaviors that they don't like in you. What happened was they said "You're a real ass in the game," and your best counter-attack was to show them all that you're a real ass outside of the game too? What the hell? And I don't fault the people who won't play for not playing. I think they have a right to not want to play with you. When one person treats the game as a matter of life-and-death, they change the atmosphere of the game for everyone else. This is like a demolition derby, where you have a monster truck and everyone else has bicycles. Eventually people are going to stop wanting to get in the arena with you. So leave. I feel the same way, at least in part. The reason I haven't wanted to play in the last couple games is because I don't want it to dominate my life and be forced to go in chats and put on a show every time I'm on AIM. It's you who makes the game like that. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one. This decision isn't difficult. If you don't sit out AT LEAST game 18, I'm going to vote to have you suspended from TWG. You won't listen to democracy, will you? People don't want you to play in this game. Deal with it, move on, and don't play in it. Go to http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/ and form your own little "life-and-death" club of obsessive TWG players there. But stay away from here until people want you back. The voice of reason has spoken. |

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: An Appeal To Reason
How about this... we all play one game WITH tass, then the next he sits out or hosts or something. I'd do it the other way around but then it wouldn't be much of a compromise... you guys could just quit after the first game.
Hopefully tass would agree to it, but if he doesn't, whoever hosts that next game could just ignore tass' sign up and if tass tries to post in the thread or whatever he would just get punished with the normal punishment for that. |

Ya know, i know i dont have alot to say since i only played in 1 TWG but in the one game i did play Tass was acting like he WAS TWG. And hes not, hes just a player. Not to mention his ego and pride are way out of wack (and people say i have Ego probs >__>).
If you guys let me in id like to play in a TWG without Tass =X

Hey, guys watch this.
See it? I'm ignoring Tass's attitude. And guess what, it's a whole lot easier than you'd think. Okay, so Tass acts like a douchebag. There's no getting around it. He's even trying to act like one because doing it pumps his ego. Unless, of course, he actually believes everything he said in his last post. If that's true, then the problem is egomania. Either way, I'm ignoring him and having fun with TWG here. I suggest y'all try to do the same. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

[16:27] Guido: Okay, my thoughts on the ban: While Tass hasn't done anything wrong (especially since I think his post in that thread is chock full of insincerity and is simply trolling), his demeanor is affecting the spirit of the FFR TWG as a whole. A ban would just send the message that he needs to cool it a bit and give people time to cool down themselves so that it's hopefully not such a problem next time.
[16:29] Evan: So yes on ban. [16:29] Guido: Yes. Guido says yes. Kilga says yes. I say yes. Tass is gone. Problem solved. |

In other news this thread surpassed in four hours what the current jtwg game has done in 7 days... let's hope the game is as active as this.

Wtf!? O_O
I'm in again, I suppose. EDIT: I just read Tass's posts earlier. Wow, way to go. And I'd just like to say the following: TWG has extremely little (almost nothing!) to do with intelligence. It's all about intuition and people sense, gut feelings and being able to tell when "something just isn't right here..." Tons of complete idiots can do that, but some extremely smart people can't. Just because you have good people sense doesn't make you too smart for us. Hans has proven himself to have great gut instinct, but is he an ass? And just because you find loopholes doesn't mean you're smart. I found an exploit in Infiltration that would have won the game for the humans if Chardish hadn't switched things up a bit. Plenty of people have done things that affected this game. Unlike you, however, they don't gloat about it and rub it in our faces so we can't forget. I'm sorry, I really shouldn't even be ranting. >__<

Gamepro is no, BBQ is no.
Leaves 13 people. I'm shortening the players to 16 people instead of 18. Taking one wolf out(not master) and a human. -- Put Chardish and Afro on the list. One spot left.
