Virtua Fighter 4.

It was the first fighting game I ever got really into and I just about did everything on it. It was insane to get up to High King. Try to do it with an A.I. too. It is an amazing game.

I guess the game that ever took me the longes to beat, was Legend of Legaia, but uhm, only because I was a noob at gaming.. (This was back in 1997? 1998?)

When I finally beat it, I had probably spent about 100+ hours playing. Haha.

lol ok im noob at dragon quest... finished at 113...

but basically any rpg by squaresoft takes long for me...

although i made a record on kh2 (proud!!! w00T!) at 23 hours and lvl 51 (didn't do whinney the pooh or sephiroth though... sephiroth is possible.. but very hard)

xemnas at the very last battle pissed me off coz when u had to control riku.. 2 shots (on proud mind you) and your dead...

and they think riku is better than sora.... frikn kairi would be better than you

oh i also took 1 hour finishing one game of tetris (nerd =P)

kingdom hearts 2 it alll ready took me 14 hours and i dont think im half way done and pm me if you know how to beat that water rock star person thats allways saying dance water dance

Tales of Symphonia. Took me 90 hrs, and I've still got 9 other endings to unlock. Beat that all you Kingdom Hearts fan, Soras got nothing on Lloyd.

Any Zelda game. It takes me FOREVER to beat those games. Like Zelda Minish Cap for GBA, after a whole month of playing it straight, I still couldn't beat the whole freakin game!!!!

The original Starfox on the SNES took me at least 10 years to beat on the hardest level.

Note: I wasn't playing the game continuously for the whole 10 years.

ummm, ok here is a list of long playing time games.

final fantasy 12- 101 hours and I still havn't killed all the marks!!
Rogue Galaxy- 50 hours on a five day game rental. woot.
Tales of symphonia- 45 hours ( 60 hours after I got all the secrets ).
PSO ( Phantasy star online)- 121 hours and still counting.
Kingdom hearts 2 ( proud mode )- 40 hours ( beat sephiroth at level 50 after 5 hours of trying him ).
Majora's mask- 60 frikin hours and about 500 days and I'm still at the f^#&# rock tower.
FFVII- 50 hours at level 89.

Hurray for people who whore these games.

I think for me FF7 took the longest for me to beat. My total game time hit max at 99:59 but i think i finished the game before I got to 99 hours of game time.

Edit: I change my mind. I think Oblivion the Elder Scrolls took me longer to beat. I still havent beaten ever side quest and such. I have no plan to either. But i have over 130 hours on my main save.

I think GTA S.A. was hardest for me it took about 39 hours to finish and i only have about 69% on it...

Maybe Crash Bandicoot....
