Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
a score of 32 goods on excite bike is over 40,000. but is less than an all good score on a song with more notes.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Well, is the score based off total score or just score?

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
total. just like everything else on the entire site is, as always, etc etc.... unless CLEARLY stated otherwise. everything is total.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
which makes it extremely hard to get a good score (Kinda like what you have to do in the first round... combined with what you have to do in the 2nd round... as well as some brains )
and tass i'm waiting until i get below -5000 before i submit. Might try for more (200+ notes song) xD

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
ewwwwww...
should i do better? meh .8 of a point i don't really need, since I won't win FFR anyways... Edit: You guys are SO right. Music catch is ALL about luck.... xD Got like 80-90 combo before halfway through the song... then got about 5 purples in a row... yeah you figure out the rest xD

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
#1 is hard because there are just so many scenarios that can arise, and you need to figure out how to not be so greedy (deducing who is who vs. what is a yes and no) -- it helps to figure out how they answer *relative* to each other, and what kind of questions would result in constrained scenarios. It's really freaking hard imo. The other two are child's play imo, although the prisoner one can be tricky if you're going for 100% (going for all but one prisoner is easy)
Anyways I don't think I'm going to make mentals that hard unless everyone involved is okay with it. Maybe if people keep dropping out or something, the hardcore participants who want to stick it out until the end can have some tough challenges. If there's an overwhelming desire for tough ****, then I can cook some stuff up, but otherwise I'm going to be as gradual as I can

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
What I hate most about Music Catch is when I get a purple, and I see five yellows come out frrom the sides. Why can all the shapes not stay inside the window!?
Or when I have a giant shape and it extends past the game window, and I hit a red. How am I suppose to dodge something I cannot see, by not going past the game? It's kind of a ridiculous game to max out on.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Exactly. Thats why. The total number of yellow released is probably the same, and is probably 100. its just when they're released and whether they're in window or not.

Here's some FFR stuff. Most of it sucks, but I don't want to get behind.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Estimated outcome:
FFR: 1st - probably tass... Mentals: 1st - Emerald, tass, or I Gaming: 1st - I believe jump or commandersa or tass.... unless theres some person that decides to submit all on the last round or something and surprise everyone.
