This, except you don't hit "as many notes as possible" you have to hit what's on the chart, which usually ends up being bass+green. Though I was just trying traditional squeezing where you activate just a little late and then hit the note that would be just after overdrive runs out a little early so that it's in overdrive.

I got pissed after I got outsqueezed on Gimme Shelter once so I sorta learned how to do it.

EDIT: Just picked up Inside the Fire (I'll get the rest of the Disturbed pack later but I only had 100MSP), all I have to say is: goddamn my leg hurts.

After playing all three Disturbed songs, Inside the Fire is definitely my favorite (it's just a better song IMO). But all three are cool and definitely worth picking up for 80MSP each.

I also got Volcano which is a really really awesome song, I'd suggest everyone get it if you want a laid back tune. Also best lyric evar: "I just want to be a couch potato and play Rock Band all day" rofl

Rock Band 2 confirmed? They're having a survey on which art design for the box is better:

Looks like it. You know that they're going to try to beat out GH4 so I can only assume it'll be even more awesome.

I was honestly hoping for an addition to the band for RB2. Keyboard, turntable, HORNS LOL

Just something new. Also: more robust drum plz... maybe they'll just go with the same set up GH4 uses and try to get the drum kit to work on both games...

Yea Rock Band Makes this song Stupid Crazy Hard, But in Real Life the Drummer hit half the Yellow and Blue note, thus making it Not impossible to play, buttt since its metal i guess they figured it should just be hard.

I have to agree completely. The Disturbed pack is definitely worth getting. I love those parts with continuous high BPM foot pedal. It's fun, and showing it off to your friends makes you look good.

Inside The Fire is the best, though. I agree there.

I'm trying to learn double-bass for those sections (read: two feet on the one pedal rofl). I'm OK on the ones like Indestructible where your hands are alternating as well as your feet. But I couldn't do the Inside the Fire one where you ride the blue at the same speed as the bass drum.

I'm sure you could do it, Tokzic.

Also I might just kill myself if they use the GH4 drumset because their setup is crap. There's no way three pads is a good idea, considering the most generic drumroll requires four pads and a cymbal. My hope is that they use what they currently have but add the two cymbals, that way it is backwards compatible but still with new features and a more realistic feel. My favorite part of the GH4 drumset is the velocity sensors; hopefully RB2's kit will have that as well. But I also hope that they don't use it for the entire song like GH4; IMO, the drums should always play the original track unless your are improvising (fills and BRE). I have a feeling that an inexperienced drummer could really ruin the music for GH4 just by being crazy on his dynamics for the whole song.

Looking at a live video it doesn't look/sound like he uses hi-hat or ride at all through those sections. Maybe only in their studio version (probably remastered for RB) would he do that.

Yea seeing how Metal bands keep there Hi-Hats Open enough were it rings there would be no reason to do 8th notes, maybe on the ride.

Anyone know the gold star score for working man on drums.

I just did 285,753 with 98%. I will gold star this soon lol, I made a lot of easily avoidable mistakes.

Also, getting much better at perfect drug, not a problem to pass anymore. So good

Finally 5 starred Outside on expert drums...ffs. I don't know why, but I find Outside to be the hardest song on drums that came with the game. I have now 5 starred every song in the bonus setlist. =)

240, 700. Bad score..but at least it is 5 starred.

EDIT: 240 was my highest note streak, lmao.

EDIT2: Holy crap, nice FC Dore! I hate the beginning of that song. >.>

Thanks.

Outside's a bitch to play, I have trouble with the weird crossover fill thing that pops up every once in a while.

I know what you mean. >.< Try to get the FC again, Dore. xD

Can anyone tell me what score (xxx thousand) it takes to gold star Highway Star expert drums? I've gotten some pretty decent scores on it, but no gold star yet.

EDIT: Nevermind, after watching http://youtube.com/watch?v=KyGnsikko44 I'm confident I won't get it, lol.

It's tough for people with low attention spans... too much repetition. And it's just a bitch to play. Fun as hell on guitar and vocals but drums... eek.

QFT.

Any songs worthy of getting in the Car album? Those are the only songs I haven't bought yet but I don't want to waste 20 dollars on crap.
