Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
I'm confused, I didn't submit anything named "Seventeen"
I'm glad you liked it though I think.

Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
I'm the one who made it, and I'm glad you liked it! Thought the CDTitle was in there, and I also sent from the same email, but then I realized oh wait. My email isn't dashoe93. Hopefully it's the most recent one. I can't remember if I changed certain jacks to trills or not depending on the most recent one. I'll have to take a look. Aaaand you're talking about the 32nds? I could change it around depending on other judgments. What exactly do you mean by min-burst?
And I added hands in Botines because Rebirth was like "add hands" so I did. Probably did it wrong but whatever. I don't know why I kept the holds, but I did. I could probably fix it if it's worth fixing. EDIT: Also, James, I don't know if you saw the graphics I posted for your two songs you requested back in forever ago. :v Last edited by dashoe93; 08-25-2014 at 06:22 PM.. |

Firstly, there really is no detail on "lol that 32nd wall". The fact that said stepper added those in means that he/she to at least some degree found legitimacy in those steps. So as obvious as it may sound, briefly describe why said 32nds won't work. And secondly, it's really unprofessional to call said song choice as "rubbish". This is better reinstated as a song that doesn't offer a lot of interesting steps due to repetitiveness, lack of 16ths, and so on. Keep your personal thoughts on the song aside, as it's the song's structure that should be a reason for rejection, not your personal opinion of the song (I hope not!). Also sorry guys, after the Michigan trip I was moving into a new apartment at K-State and started the college semester today so I haven't cared to update this. This month has been incredibly slow for submissions, but it could be from the lack of activity from us judges that gives this a slow vibe. At this point I see this pack taking another 6 months to complete. Which... doesn't really bother me. I'd prefer it to be done in 2 - 3, but with only 8 accepted files that doesn't seem to be happening. Last edited by Rebirth0; 08-25-2014 at 08:02 PM.. |

Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
It seems to me that you guys got an unupdated danger danger. I don't see how or why that happened since I rar'd it AFTER I did fixes before sending it in. I'll look over what's still there, and redo some spots. Idk about resending it though, since most aren't digging the song.

Anyhow, mini-burst is simply a small roll-based pattern. Mainly at a length of 4 notes. But yeah, if you want I can mull over the file in how I would handle Botines to give you a general idea on how you could give off a much better visual appeal to the file while still being technically correct.

Re: Keyboardsmash Phase I: Legacy Submissions Open
Most judges are very capable of putting out the logic to their reasoning, and I'm sure you had yours too which were completely sensible. I'm confident you can generally tell how much a song can offer for steps for instance. Regardless, it's how you present the review that matters. It's other people that are reading it, right?
