Hey, question: the ver colourful burst near the beginning of integraation, what note interval is that equivalent to?

The first 4 are 192nds, after that I can't tell if they're 128ths or 192nds.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
128ths don't exist. If it's a white arrow, it's a 192nd.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
white arrows can be anything not covered by the colors
The ones at the end of Pimp Slap are 96ths, for example

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Actually, they do if you create them via notepad. You can even have 18ths, 59ths, anything you want, if you edit said arrows in the way I mentioned.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Yeah, forgot about 96ths. Those exist too.
128ths and anything else don't though. I know you can edit the SM to make whatever you want, but they actually get replaced with the closest 192nd note. edit (2nd edit actually): damn, both of you quoted me before I edited the post.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Yes, but you can still put in whatever the hell you want... we're worried about what they're supposed to be (the composite rhythm) and not what they're rounded to.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
like sc979 said any rhythms are actually defined as 192/x th notes on sm/dwi.
if you want exact 128ths, you should double the bpm and use 64ths. for patashu: here's a pic of colored burst (the left is ingame one). Last edited by jimerax; 10-11-2008 at 09:33 PM.. |

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
not sure if this has been discussed already but eternal nightmare [heavy] deserves a v2. electricwerewolf's steps do not do the song justice at all. ESPECIALLY the solo at the end. It could easily be an FMO song if done right.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
I've created my simfile perfectly and uploaded it, but the thing is it's off on timing when I play it on Resonance. What is the cause of that?
