Yeah, me too. It would make the next round for each division pretty intense. The difference between getting credits or not.

Not to mention that barely losing to the next highest person doesn't make you mad because of a 50k credit difference.

Edit: And I just found out that apparently my score is tied with 3 other people.

Both. Sort of.

It's by score, so it's basically combo if it isn't a FC and PA if it is an FC. An FC score will (almost) always beat a non-FC, except for maybe a miss on the last note or something like that.

That's kinda bull.

You see, I'm able to get a decent PA MAX Forever (usually). I, however, have never been able to FC it due to onehanded trills. So, technically, FCs with a worse PA shouldn't be accepted over a non-FC with a better PA.

Also, no run of MAX Forever that I've had so far is acceptable. Great job picking songs, Phynx, and great job on my placement. [/sarcasm]

Seems to me like the winners still get fairly substantial prizes, and people who know they aren't going to get the top 3 places still have a worthwhile incentive to try their hardest.

I chose up to 3 winning people per division because as I have stressed far more than necessary, this tournament emulates the official tourney as closely as possible with only a few minor tweaks. The only major change was the induction of the Master division.

This tournament is to emulate the Official tournament standards as closely as possibly, surpassing them whereever possible. As normal, there will be a full week to play a song and get your best score on it. AAA's will be an automatic jump to the next round.
