I'm so freaking mad right now... This whole entire week has been completely clear at night and the one time when something rare and awesome is going to happen, there has to be clouds...
Guess I'll have to settle for the Webcam...
Also, did you guys know that this is the first time in 400 some years that an eclipse and the Winter Solstice happen in the same night? I thought that was pretty interesting.

Moon is at an exact 90 Degree angle above me at this point and i'm excited for when it actually occurs... both parents are already asleep but my mom told me to wake her when it happens haha

Lol. Talk about sucks for A LOT of the US. Well, Maryland here, I got a nice view along with New Jersey, Florida, Delaware, New Jersey, Long Island NY, Texas and parts of Montana.

Wow... talk about luck right? =P

The moon is straight smack in the middle of the sky right now. Also I have never seen the moon so bright before either.

it's fairly clear where I'm standing right now, there appears to be an orange-ish ring when the clouds almost cover the moon. it's really cold even with my coat and gloves. the moon is almost directly above me

The cloud cover here (southwest CT) is very thin, giving it a ****ing baller halo effect. I can see a shadow creepin along the moon, not sure I'll stay up for the total eclipse though.
