Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
I think revamping the Vet system is an excellent idea, especially to people who are FFR regulars but suck at the game. e.g. me.
Hopefully I'll think of something to contribute to the thread more. |

Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
For when you get 60 credits on a song. On a serious note, ffr points could work for character customization. We just need higher quality characters, and accessories~

Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
this is a keysmahing game, not MyImagine: Mall Trip. :/ I'm not really in favor of this idea. However, I DO like the idea of NOTESKINS that you can purchase for a pretty penny. Maybe a price range of 5k-50k? Also, Why drop credits for a different currency? I say keep it and revamp it.

Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
Forum posts have no relevance to if your a vet imo.
Personally It should be strictly based off ffr statistics. MY recommendation is 10 billion gts and 20,000 games play at minimum, something a "vet" player could easily obtain. |

Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
Make veteran status cost credits. Now there is another use for credits.
Example: 1 month veteran status: xxxxx credits 3 month veteran status: xxxxx credits etc. just like subscriptions only with credits

Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
Making veteran status be a credit requirement entirely defeats the purpose of the Veteran title.
I personally feel like this title should be left untouched, but if you want to consider modifying it to be a bit more fair, make a forum equivalent that shows substantial activity (like 2,000/3,000 forum posts). Obviously, forum activity would have to be moderated a bit more heavily to prevent people from trying to postwhore. |

Having "Veteran" status shouldn't be something you could pay to get. It's like paying to get a medal or a reward, whereas someone else worked their ass off to get it. Furthermore, the only good ideas that have come up so far, which imo works the best is the table that Justin-ator presented in his first post, and Izzy's FFR points suggestion.

At the cost of sounding unpopular, I will say this: People who are griping over a SCORE+YEAR requirement need to play the game more. It's a reasonable requirement, and is WAY too easy to get as it is. I for one think it should be 10 Billion. I don't think that is unreasonable. |

Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
10 billion is legit. 3 years is boo. But of course I would say that since I still have awhile to go.

Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
having a forum post requirement on this will encourage severe postwhoring.

Alternatively, just leave the requirement untouched. I mean...a three year requirement on a site that's been around for almost nine years for a veteran title really doesn't seem all that unreasonable. There's not many perks anyway. |

Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
You'll see an improved veteran requirement list in the average-distance future.

Re: "Veteran" Status Discussion
I say scrap the usage of veteran, return to Elite FFR Supporter and tweak it so that those who are extremely active in the community get recognition for it. Three years is nonsense if you're a person who is on the site all the time.
