Re: Your top 5 accomplishments 2013? (FFR/SM/ITG/DDR/osu!)
I think for FFR, my order would be...
5. dr1 4. Japan Style Breakcore!!! 3. Return to Fire 2. All your base are belong to ME 1. Bloody Tears ... what can I say, my accomplishments are related to making files, not scoring on them. I prefer creating content, to consuming it :P

Re: Your top 5 accomplishments 2013? (FFR/SM/ITG/DDR/osu!)
1. Improving from Division 3 to Division 5
I entered 2013 with Otaku Speedvibe [Heavy], and ended the year with 3g, 2g and 1g attempts for unlocking Otaku Speedvibe [Oni]. 2. First Stepfile In-Game (A Lifetime - F-777 Remix) On that fateful day, I learned a valuable lesson: never step Renard (and attempt to bruteforce your way into queue by resubmitting it to like 5 batches, jesus christ) 3. Quark (66) Blackflag I have come to believe that having one's dreams crushed in the last 100 notes is pretty much required before actually unlocking [Oni]. 4. Starting to PA FGOs Sub-30 goods on both Frictional Nevada and Unicron Barbeque. squee~ 5. DownTemperature (74) SDG Bullshit my way through with 6-0-1-3 Last edited by PrawnSkunk; 01-1-2014 at 02:19 PM.. |

Re: Your top 5 accomplishments 2013? (FFR/SM/ITG/DDR/osu!)
IDK what order to but them in, but I guess I'll mention them as they come to mind.
Rediscovering FFR --> Division 1 - 3rd Place Switched to spread and stepped out of my comfort zone by entering into my first Official Tournament. Enchanting Venus SDG I think this will be the song I eventually get Otaku Speedvibe [Heavy] on. PA Challenging songs Sub-15 goods on Origin of Species, A Lifetime and Tokimori Uta I think this puts me into D2. Starting to FC VCs Full Combo'd Entry and Heroes On Your Lawn At Night. SM and Osu Accomplishments Started playing Stepmania...apparently it really helps with my ability to read streamy files. Skill boosting at Osu! I finally have a pp. Though I don't really get what it means. Best Osu! Score in my books? Passing He's a Pirate (F-777) on Hard (TicClick) with a B :3

Re: Your top 5 accomplishments 2013? (FFR/SM/ITG/DDR/osu!)
I too haven't really played much this year (kinda stopped when my beast kb for indecks died ;.; ) so instead will do my best 5.
#5 Defection AAA, because oni unlock #4 Rock 'n' Rocks AAA, index. This is a pretty basic file for spread but has a world of rage bits for an index player. #3 Red Sign pass, index. Only reason not higher because a lot of this (esp the end) is luck based. #2 MSWGO pass, index. Endurance for this is pretty intense, and still have to luck out on several parts. Hardest part is actually the js just after the solo because I'm always so tireed after that and if you don't get the pattern down straight off it's really easy to die and you can't just 'mash' through it. Never thought I'd do this and never tried since. #1 Almost There Edit A, index. Pretty hard to explain this to anyone who isn't index. My favourite score for sure.

(1) Unlocked all skill/event/support tokens
(2) (3) (4) (5) D7 - 16 months ago when I failed out of D4 on the second round of the 7th official, I never thought I'd come anywhere close to this.

I can post scores here. Props to all the scores already posted, some of these are the best scores i've ever seen x_x
5th: Caprice 1.3x AA Probably not noteworthy at all, had no clue what to put as #5 x_x 4th: Camp rock choke Closest i ever got to aaa'ing this i think. Everything came after the first cb 3rd: Sandstorm SDP Needless to say, amazing accuracy. 2nd: Red sign FC It's done. 1st: Destiny gamma near AAA Say Destiny gamma Triple A and you will hear how silly that sounds, that's exactly how good this score almost is.

Re: Your top 5 accomplishments 2013? (FFR/SM/ITG/DDR/osu!)
In no order but here's 5 scores.
Mahou oshigato low 20's. I'm not great at jumpstream but the bpm is just perfect. like above, I was getting 30's before. Can't quite touch this since. because I'm a vibro *** best non ma'able or stupid file for me. and hardest AA I worked for this year

Re: Your top 5 accomplishments 2013? (FFR/SM/ITG/DDR/osu!)
I didn't get many stepmania scores this year so I'll probably be listing some unconventional accomplishments here
1. Learning crossovers (this goes for both index and pad play) I would definitely list this as a major accomplishment because I get to see how songs are really stepped in official DDR charts and I managed to pass PSMO 2.0 rate on index. Crossover files are my most played files now; I'm also in the process of making a "fuck the score" footspeed pad pack. 2. Winning D7 in the 9th official FFR tournament and helping with frame fixes With the legacy engine I had a visual handicap of reading such a small space (in a previous official tournament I had myself removed from the dashboard from being angry about not being able to use the velocity engine when it was working for me in the 6th official). It was a pleasure working with TC_Halogen on this as well, and being able to help with an event like this means a lot to me. 3. bag 0.25x speed modifier pass (index) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUv2HG1kwJA This was fucking NUTS. I had to make the game window larger to even have a chance at passing this. There was a spot I misread at the very end where I almost failed and I would have been very mad if this run was not a pass. 4. Fascination Maxx Eternal Love Mix Challenge 2.0 rate pass (index) I also did this on xmod: http://youtu.be/SUv2HG1kwJA?t=1m24s That ending with all the jumps was a crapshoot and I kept failing the very end. I'd basically consider this my best DDR pass on index to date. 5. Passing PSMO nobar I don't have the stamina or speed for this anymore. I can still pass it with bar, but I have a lot of trouble and I step way too wide when I use the bar. I had really good technique nobar for even crossovers like this, I just didn't have the speed or stamina to do the song completely. http://youtu.be/oXeetjxzv3w?t=1m18s
