bakemonogatari is still one of the best shows this year but those black and red banners get annoying

Started watching two new animes, cannan and bakemonogatari. Dropped bakemonogatari because it was terrible. Animation was cool but the storyline was corny and the amount of explanation for everything was almost greater than naruto or bleach. Had some potential but they ****ed up.

Canaan so far is great. I like the animation and the plot has good potential. I like how they leave the explanation up to you so I feel like i'm watching something that is actually happening rather then watching something that somehow knows it is supposed to be explaining to an audience.

No, I don't belive I am over examaning things. I just have high expectations for todays shows.

I'm behind on S+W II. Has Lawrence biblically known Horo yet or do we have to go through season 3 with all the sexual tension still there.

Also I watched two episodes of Bakemonogatari and then put it on hold. I'll finish it eventually, it wasn't bad, I've just been busy.
