Re: FMO/FGO Event Simfile Discussion Thread
I was disappointed in Mario Minor. It sounded similar to a Dragonforce version of the Mario theme.
One of the reasons I didn't like it was because the theme was changed to the minor key. Then I realized how it got its name. lol

Re: FMO/FGO Event Simfile Discussion Thread
Mario minor, is NOT an FGO song. Any song which I can get 800+ combo on the first try, and more than 50% of an AAA score, does NOT count as FGO. Maybe, a medium FMO. I would get more combo, if avmisses were fixed..... same with big blue... avmisses are ANNOYING on that song lol
and lol ppl are starting to make songs from SCGMD2.... Big Blue, Guitar vs. Piano, etc.

Oh wow, they actually released a song that doesn't have a bunch of stupid framers and is FCable by non-subs. Even though I still end up hitting everything early just in case.
Edit: oh wait, I was the first non-sub to FC Eradication too, forgot about that one. Edit: Ok, just FC'd Setsujou, so that's 3...

Re: FMO/FGO Event Simfile Discussion Thread
Mario Minor was submitted way before avmisses were fixed. I would have changed a lot of the patterns had they been fixed at the time.

Re: FMO/FGO Event Simfile Discussion Thread
Mario Minor is good, not omg amazing or anything, but a solid file that I don't mind in the least its presence in FFR. My one complaint would be the 989898 or 121212 patterns, but hey I'm sure index likes those so w/e.
It reminded me of a cross between Southern Cross and Melonman, but without the deficincies of either file. Nice work. EDIT- Also yeah it's WAY easy for an FGO. I'd even go so far as to call it a VC haha

Re: FMO/FGO Event Simfile Discussion Thread
Don't be hatin', that file was pretty good. Got a few rhthyms wrong that I could tell (one 32nd roll was actually 48ths or even 64ths in spurts) but w/e.
Amazing song, and not a bad file. I agree its a bit vROFL, but hey, it goes with the song!

Re: FMO/FGO Event Simfile Discussion Thread
Also those 32nd runs are DEFINITELY the new fastest streams in FFR rofl
