Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Oh, and apparently, there are labels on the boxes of Zelda: Twilight Princess that say "DO NOT SELL BEFORE NOVEMBER 19."
So, I don't know why all these retail stores have it being released days before. 10 more days. |

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
i say I have to agree with you all. the Wii does look awesome with their new games and graphics, but it's true about the controlling. You're having to use a controller that looks like an awkward remote that is 100% motion-Sensitive. Imagine trying to play a fast paced game like Sonic or Super Monkey Ball. Prepare to die 1000 deaths in those games (literally). even so, it still looks pretty awesome, especially with the Wii being $250 or less!

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Jason has it pretty much right on the money.
You're talking about the PS3 and its SIXAXIS, not the Wii. Wii is not a graphical powerhouse. It's slightly better than a souped-up XBOX (not 360). It's ONLY about the controls, which they've been working on for YEARS to perfect, or at least come close. The controller is the selling point for Wii. If you think it's awkward, then you shouldn't buy it. It's the only thing Nintendo wants people to focus on, aside from having fun while using it. |

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Crap monkeys. I have to wait until January 7th.
But that is kind of good because I won't be tempted to buy it. Usually I buy things ASAP and then a month or two later there are really good deals. Better be cool colors by then. Or porn. |

Well there's this antique auction by my house and they pay you $100 a day, only open on weekends tho. It would work though.

Two hands? Oh noez! You can totally play on a Playstation 2 / Gamecube / Xbox / Xbox 360 / Playstation 3 / Playstation / Nintendo 64 / Super Nintendo / NES / PC with only one hand. Wii sux!!!111 Think of it as a controller that is split in two pieces for conventional purposes. The left hand has an analog stick, and it's for movement. Not only can you move with it, you can use it as your "hand" in-game if the developers have programmed it as such (Red Steel: Use the left "nunchuck" remote to push open doors). The right hand is for your right "hand" in-game. It can be a gun, a sword, a steering wheel, a drumstick, whatever the game calls for it. Oh, and some games only require one hand! Imagine that! I don't get what's so hard about this. Go to wii.com and watch some videos. Closing in on a week left. |

All you have to do is take the part of the controller that is supposed to be for the "left" hand, and switch it to your right. Then take the other part of the controller to your left hand. It is the first controller that is made for lefty's and righty's.

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Nintendo representatives said being left-handed wouldn't matter.
Also, is this a problem currently? Current controllers don't come in two pieces and I never heard of lefties complaining about that. |
