Re: FFR Scores
I'm so happy right now. Came back from a decent ITG tournament, and then I come home to see that amazing Newvember post. =D
Got Slaytronic AAA in 2 tries, but the patterns in that song look really bad (I say look because when it comes to jumpstreams, I'm fairly indifferent toward any patterns). It also sounds like it's around 210-220 BPM. Me thinks FMO? |

Re: FFR Scores
The bpm of Slaytronic is *checks*: 220bpm. Patterns are quite straightforward IMO. If you didn't think Kanon-Kanon (which is at the same bpm) was an FMO, what justifies this song to be one, in your opinion?

Re: FFR Scores
Well--most of Kanon Kanon is 8th notes, so it just takes some slower technique to catch on. Slaytronic has a pretty decent of 16th breaks, some of which include jumps in the middle of. I personally think jumpstream that combines 16th runs at that speed is a bit harder than 8th notes that throws some 16ths with a single jump at the end.
Actually, I want to play Kanon-Kanon again right now so I can visualize the chart a bit better. EDIT: Just as I remembered. I want to say about 1/2 of Kanon-Kanon was filled with jumpstream that didn't require you deal with jump-chains (jumps w/ jacks if you aren't sure what I mean). The second half of the chart does ramp up a bit, but aside from the (14)232(14)323(14) patterns, there isn't any other 16th jump-streams in there. However, I realize why I feel strongly for this being a VC instead of a FMO, and why people argue over it so much.. It's just a personal preference--I find the constant jump section and 8th notes pretty simple to do. Slaytronic is a bit more demanding with speed in a longer area. |

Re: FFR Scores
This is hilarious. I came on to FFR today, saw a new song. Went :O OMG. Then I wanted to see the song before I played it. I go to AJ's profile, click on his older replays and click the replay that said he got a AAA. This is what happens after you watch the replay
WHAT THE ****!!!! HAHA Skill like mad to not get any goods but averages, misses, and boos xDDD |

Re: FFR Scores
This song is a high VC. looks a lot like choprite+LW4, but doesn't suffice to be FMO. But I'll be glad if it becomes FMO; it always feels good to add something to my FMO AAA list |
