I thikn that if you give a hint scores should count, because I went through the trouble of solving it, then got the score for the song. But this is only what i think, i guess no one else thinks this.

You can play it all you want. You just can't submit the score if you got it before the round started. If you figured out the hint, then take the time to practice the song at your own will. The score will not count unless you get it when the round is active. That's final.
