No idea about the USB ports. You're gonna have somewhat of a fun time getting Gamecube games for it though. I'm guessing eBay is going to be the place to go, because stores aren't going to keep a back catalog of Gamecube games, other than EB Games or GameStop or whatever you have in wherever you live. It's awesomely small. I can fit it practically anywhere without problems. It also comes out 4 days before Thanksgiving. That means I don't get to become an expert at it before my cousins play it, so they don't get a chance to complain about losing to me for stupid reasons. 8) Edit: Rofl. http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/nintend...ole-204430.php Quote:

Heh, I was wondering where you were supposed to plug in the gamecube controllers. I'm kinda thinking about the Wii's durability, it looks kinda fragile in the sense that if it accidently gets pulled out and drops to the ground it will break.

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
There's slots on the top of the console for Gamecube controllers and memory cards. And though it looks fragile, We know well enough about Nintendo's hardware to not have to worry =)

I hope to god Streets of Rage will be up for download.
Edit: Oh and Sonic CD. Edit: One USB port could be for a Wireless Router maybe?

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
I remember hearing that the Wii won't support keyboard for web browsing.
Me thinks it was in EGM, where they were comparing it and the PS3

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
You can't have decent web browsing without a keyboard. What are they suggesting for inputing urls? A soft point and click on-screen keyboard? I hope not.

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Im pretty sure imma get this one first before my ps3 and x360.
In my opinion, I just hope it won't be a flop like the gamecube. Is SSBB a launch game?

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
No, Brawl is set to launch in early 2007.
Gamecube didn't flop. It didn't win, but it's not like as a result of the Gamecube, Nintendo has gone out of the running (see: Dreamcast, N-Gage). They had at least 50 solid titles on the market among first and thirty party developers. That's huge compared to Xbox's... three? Kotor, Halo, Fable. Yep, three. And those are all on PC now. They run better, faster, smoother, and are better with a mouse than the analog sticks on Xbox. |

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Yea i agree with what your saying, but i still cant get over the lack of online games the GC provided. If you take Halo for example, the multiplayer was enough to go a year playing that alone. Regardless of the few titles, i still think they kept a high replay value due to downloadable content. About the titles being on PC, i bet they do run great but all i have is regular house computer and not a Gaming One. I'd rather not invest that much money. Maybe if SSBM was online i would still be playing it to this day. It had the potential.

Re: The Revolution (Wii) is Here.
Seriously, only get SSB if you have friends. I got some IRL friends finally and now I'm like damn, if only I had SSB. =(

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |
