Basically that the average for acceptance can vary a little.

If that's not right, but I get the point, then Thanks!

The Ordeal Becomes Great (8,7,9,7) = 7.75 Put a lot of effort into this, glad to see the judges liked it. ^^

Lunar Eclipse (7,8,7,6) = 7 Surprised this did worse than The Ordeal Becomes Great because this was my "safe" submission ahaha.

Kirlian Shores (4,6,7,5) = 5.5 I had never stepped a song like this before so this was a big step into a grey area (for me at least). Considering doing an overhaul and resubmitting. =P

Doubt (7,6,7,7) = 6.75 mmmmm I wasn't too happy with this looking over after I submitted it but I guess it wasn't too bad =S. Will send fixes.

Regarding accepted files:

For any fixes you may have, for the purposes of convenience, please send fixes just like you would for sending a normal submission.

Do NOT only send the .dwi or .sm file please. I would like the .dwi (and preferably .sm) AND the audio file. It's very much a hassle to pick the bits and pieces of files scattered throughout the submission inbox when someone sends multiple fixes. I can list a number of particular simfile artists who like to send fixes with just the .dwi file...please avoid this.

Thank you. :3

No, they're alphabetical in order (for the most part heh). The only indication of performance would be the fact that you have individual lists of differing SAP.

I just checked the spreadsheet, and it looks like jx made a calculation error. "FINAL (total)" score should be divided by 3 to get the "FINAL (average)" score. However, it seems that your file was accidentally divided by 4 instead, which resulted in an apparent reject. Your "FINAL (average)" score for Zeitmesser should be 7.573713696, not 5.680285272.

p.s. for non-judges, no you cannot see the spreadsheet

Yeah there's a error on Zeitmesser's column (final one), so it's an accept, fixed.

also,

TOP 5 highest rated files
1. Jazzman - Super Mario Bros (MarioNintendo) - 8.60/8.57
2. Touch Me (bmah) - 8.56/8.55
3. Twister (Scintill) - 8.49/8.54
4. center piercing (bmah) - 8.59/8.43
5. Weapon (Kommisar) - 8.31/8.36

(adjusted average [halved effect of MAX/MIN rating] / simple average)

Psh, stop whining, man. Did you even bother reading your reviews? For the record, what was wrong with your runningmen was that they used the left arrow as the anchor for the whole song, which is a legitimate claim. You could've easily switched that up to add more variety to your patterns. And besides, if I look at the review I wrote you, I see the runningmen weren't the only issue.

- I found a spot where you had a weird layering choice (that spot repeats itself also later in the song, watch out for that): 14.372s. You stepped the little synth correctly, but I think it would've a more appropriate choice to step the guitar riff, even if it's not the main melody. It's what stands out the most and it wouldn't make a bad pattern at all! If you don't plan on changing them all, at least change a few of them. It gets pretty repetitive.
- I wouldn't be afraid to add the missing snare notes at 72.562s and 72.071s, they make great polyrhythms.
- This is too hard compared to the rest of the song, at least try to avoid some of the jacks, it's making it way too hard for no reason.
- Around that part at 132.311s, you left a lot of gaps between notes. I would fill them to keep the energy high (remember there's a bass playing 16ths throughout the whole song at all time!)
- Dat walking man at 158.745s. The left arrow is getting tired, please change the pattern around a bit, there is a lot more you can do here than repeating the same thing you did in the intro. It doesn't even have to be a running man!

... So yeah.

... So yeah.
Not whining, just surprised in light of how much I enjoy the file personally.

Also very surprised you say I used the left arrow as the anchor for the whole song because it switches from left to right and back again no less than 4 times... the only long left arrow runningman is the one at the end (did you get like, a different version of my file or something 0_o)

I'll check the other things you mentioned- I know the melody sections are quite easy compared to the solo and I'll look into beefing them up if needed.

Your third bullet point doesn't specify a section but I'll assume it's talking about the jumpspam- that's just the same NPS as all the difficult-patterned 32nd streams in the solo, and the patterns were made to be as easy as possible without just being jumptrills (which is what it sounds like you are asking me to use more of, or am I interpreting this entirely incorrectly)
