This is an escape post. It uses the "I'm no good to the wolves" defense again, ignoring the fact that throwing a teammate under the bus is a risky proposition at best, and one that would be hard to organize without looking artificial, particularly since it seems like daychat is uncommon on FFR.

This was the most important post to my logic here, and I admit I could be reading it wrong. I don't know enough about you and Xel yet to know if there's past history between the two of you, and if your vote was more of a "don't be a jerk" thing than an actual play in game. i get inklings of a "haku defensive" vibe but i noticed something different about his start the game here vs. turbo 5

in turbo 5, he started the game as haku-centric, but then felt freer to post his mind and poke at people

in this game, he started as more openly inquisitive, then switched to a focus on the self (cf. his vote on xel)

This game format is very different of Turbo.

My meta is not working well here because we have like 15 players/72 hours.

People don't feel pressured as much and most of everything I'm doing is backfiring at me.

Basically I need to either reconsider how I'm playing or continue and pray I find a bigger fish than me by the end of EoD.

DBP's vote was because of the long mechanical posts about Charu when he's most likely town already and not posting about anything else, looking like the super long mechanics posts are used to look useful.
