Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions CLOSED)
If you had my file and it's one of those 15, I'm going to be mad. I missed getting accepted by a hair last time I submitted it, and I made RECOMMENDED changes to the damn file so there's no reason it shouldn't be making it this time. Ugh.
edit: not saying you don't know how to judge or attacking you, just venting frustration

I think quality is essential for FFR. I feel as if some files are just passed through but could've used improvements. I'm trying to fix this without being completely unfair. Having said that, this batch of files feels quite disappointing =/ I don't have your file though hehu.

Damn, the one time I actually get a file in, and this shit happens. There must be a pattern.....

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions CLOSED)
Also, if you do reject it (looking at anyone that actually has it) please give me GOOD review notes with details because I intend to fix it and send it in AGAIN if I don't get it in this time.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions CLOSED)
Sometimes simfilers are caught up in a rather unfortunate circumstance where their files are continuously rejected, each time for different/varying views on different sets of judges. On occasion, some judges may reject a file based on a correction made from another set of judges in a previous batch. The only way out I've seen in these circumstances is to keep submitting your file. However, it would be a good idea to contact all judges involved, especially ones with opposing views, to reconcile your conundrum.

yeah the one con of having several judges is conflicting opinions.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions CLOSED)
This is the batch where I actually tried sending in generic "good" files instead of weird stuff
result? seems so far to be reject all the things. So much for that experiment lmao

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions CLOSED)
~expressivemanias~ is #1 (and only) accepted stepping nowadays...
I'm going to be really sad if Carol of the Bells get's rejected for being boring, because let's be serious, how many -good- pure JS/HS files does FFR have? Yes, we have a few, but the number way too low in comparison to other types of stepping.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions CLOSED)
I'm gonna be sad if Nekomimi Switch is rejected for being "under" stepped.
