I have. I've had one bad cookie.
Beyond the chance negative effects of a bad wrath cookie, do they hinder your progress? |

Then I will gladly save my 6.6 Trillion cookies for upgrades rather than obtaining the Elder Covenant. Haha.

Re: Cookie Clicker
The Wrath cookies don't really do much to hinder progress unless you have some seriously bad luck. If you have low CPS they're better imo, with gold cookies being better at high CPS. People have been doing experiments and crazy ass graphs and shit so i'll take a look around.

Re: Cookie Clicker
Have you got the two golden cookie upgrades yet? If so, then it's definitely worth clicking more wrath cookies at your CPS currently.

Re: Cookie Clicker
Yeah, I got them a while ago. I'm only missing 11 upgrades total (the 1 trillion+ ones and some of the research upgrades)

Re: Cookie Clicker
This is the second run through of the game. I got all the achievements on that build before resetting and attempting a no click run. I'm just glad that an achievement came out afterwords for that. I'm missing the 1 trillion reset achievement because I misjudged what the total needed was. "Helper" is just a small GreaseMonkey script that gives me some useful statistics in the bottom right of the game window, along with tracking the amount of game ticks to get a total time played. |

Re: Cookie Clicker
Here's my general strategy at this point.
I'm at 545 million cps. I'm keeping 10 trillion cookies in the bank at any given point. If I'm going to babysit the game and click cookies, I'll keep the grandmothers appeased (the cost is capped at 8^13 cookies or ~550 million cookies). The most likely golden cookie click results are the cookie instant bonus (~10% of your current cookie stockpile or 30 minutes of cookie production at your cps, whichever is lower) and the x7 cps for 77 seconds. One click of a golden cookie will net me ~294 million cookies over 77 seconds, or ~980 million for the instant payout. When cookies are appearing every couple minutes (because I bought the golden cookie upgrades), a couple golden cookie clicks will make back my loss on appeasing the grandmothers. All this assumes I'm keeping 10 trillion cookies banked and I feel like babysitting the game. For red cookies you're wanting the ~6% chance of getting x666 to your cps for 6 seconds. For me it would be a gain of ~2.1 trillion. Which is very nice, but 4 golden cookie clicks will likely net me more cookies than relatively uncommon "Elder Frenzy". There's lots of nice math you could do to figure out at which cps it becomes more advantageous to appease the grandmothers than just work with the red cookies. There's really no extreme downside to just relying on red cookies though, you won't be losing cookies overall with them. I'm not sure why I spent time going though this. (sources of cookie rates and numbers are taken from the cookie clicker wikia site, the editors of that claim to of found the info within the game code) |

Re: Cookie Clicker
New update. v1.034
04/09/2013 - smarter cookie -golden cookies only have 20% chance of giving the same outcome twice in a row now -added a golden cookie upgrade -added an upgrade that makes pledges last twice as long (requires having pledged 10 times) -Quintillion fingers is now twice as efficient -Uncanny clicker was really too unpredictable; it is now a regular achievement and no longer requires a world record, just *pretty fast* clicking |

Update out, refresh. Appears to be a bunch of cookies for 100 trillion each, for 15% income.
And what Velo said lol. |

Re: Cookie Clicker
782 million cps
Got a wrath cookie that buffed my production by 666x for 20 seconds instead of 6 seconds like the last update. I actually clicked during those 20 seconds and got 4.5 trillion hand made in that time period lol Last edited by Rebirth0; 09-3-2013 at 11:01 PM.. |
