Re: TWG 150: Undertale
I thought we had another hour for end of phase. I was mislead by an earlier post even though the correct time was posted.
I'll be able to make some comments after work tomorrow. Long shift and I'm not off until the afternoon. I have a good idea who more people are and I'll reveal this information after I've had some time to dwell on it. If storn is in this game, he's hiding his identity. I think lurker is in this game. I think DaBackpack is in this game. I think Xelnya/Red Blaster is in this game. As for others, I'd have to continue thinking. As for who these people are, I can drop that knowledge later. I know I was as forthcoming as I could have been last phase, but in all honesty, anon game day 0s are shitshows for reasoning and sorting things out. |

Looking at Asgore wagon: Toriel was town, Undyne swooped in and swerved a lynch onto Asgore. Normally I would think that people on a successful town lynch are more towny-than-not, but I'm not sure considering her vote was literally last minute. (Her vote was previously on Monster Kid. Monster Kid got two votes in the last minute of the phase, which prompted Undyne to switch onto the top wagon. Looking at Doggo wagon: Asgore was town, and Mad Dummy was consistent and pretty legit last phase, so I'm leaning town on this one. Doggo might have been wolfing after all, especially when we consider Undyne's behavior. Looking at Monster Kid wagon: Both of these votes were really weird in the last minute of the phase... but I don't think they are wolfy at the moment. The EoD interactions are actually very fruitful to look into imo, and I'm a little tired to tease out the wagons at the moment, but I'll try to construct a better system tomorrow In general, I'm really interested in the people who are on "shit wagons". Napstablook why did you say you were fine with a vote on me, without actually a) giving any reasoning, and b) leaving it on someone who had zero chance of dying that phase |

@xiz none of us can quote the votecount since we have <5 posts ("you cannot quote external URLs")

undyne why was asgore a better lynch for you after you saw Monster kid getting traction? because fmpov your vote looks like an early tunneling attempt, and then you realized monster kid might die, and then you switched to the top town wagon |

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
if we presume for a moment that Undyne is scum (a lofty assumption I know but I'm theorycrafting), it begs the question why vote Asgore over Doggo, because iirc it was 2/2
you can either read this as an indicator that Doggo was wolfing, which actually I'm not seeing right now, because Undyne would have earlier switched her vote off of Monster Kid in order to defend Doggo so basically, if Undyne is wolf, then I posit the following: a) Doggo is town b) Monster Kid is wolf and if Monster Kid is wolf: a) Alphys is probably town (which is my current read atm) and sans is probably town, unless it was a last-ditch effort to get off of a town wagon (this possibility needs more investigation later on I think, wolves do not want to be on town wagons generally) |

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
How is it opportunistic? I generally think Temmie brought up good points and given his vote at eod I think Sans could use some pressure. Iirc you did the exact same thing yesterday when someone mentioned Muffet, which is why I voted you.

Alright fuck the image shtick. It'd make the rest of the game more difficult than it ought to be.
I need to go reread on this but I wanna reference two posts: Quote:

Re: TWG 150: Undertale
Yeah, my vote looks like shit.
I remembered it was EOD seven minutes before the cutoff, did a fast read of the thread, and didn't like the sudden movement of Sans and Alphys onto Monster Kid. Sans has been giving me human vibes, and Alphys had barely said anything all phase. I didn't like the wagon and I didn't like the timing of the vote swing. So I got paranoid and wanted to move my vote. Doggo had yet to say anything besides bow-wow in the whole phase. That is either shit tier red play, indifferent green play, or good blue play. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Asgore specifically said they'd be there for EOD, but didn't make any posts. That is bad play no matter what role he was. I gave him a quick iso and it felt like it could have been intentional UTR. I guess it wasn't. Bad call on my part. I kind of wish I'd just stayed on Monster Kid because I don't like their posts at all. |
